Together Again!
On the op-ed pages of this morning's NY Times: Donald Rumsfeld and Ahmad Chalabi. Maybe the Times can get a pardon from Bush for its recidivism.

I disagree. They are 2 of a group of 7 guest op-eds on the topic of Obama's challenges in Iraq and Afghanistant and the entire set is worth reading:
And I found Chalabi's of interest because he says "please get the hell out of Iraq now." Rumsfeld's is of interest because he disagrees that Afghanistan needs the same kind of surge as Iraq. And while most Chalabi types are probably long gone from the DOD, you can be sure that a President Obama will be dealing with some brass who think just like Rummy.
But you certainly have every right to continue with the "low information voter" reading option if that is your desire.

I'm actually looking for information from credible sources and opinions from people with a record of competence, or at least a record that does not include a starring role in the biggest foreign policy disaster in our generation.
I'm still waiting for Rumsfeld to explain this quote: "We know where [the WMD] are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat."
That the Times is continuing to give these con men valuable editorial space is absurd.
Get your information and opinions from whoever you want, but I'll happily look elsewhere.
