Today Josh pointed us toward J. Taylor Rushing's article in The Hill :

"Senate Republicans have requested information about Attorney General nominee Eric Holder's role in the Elian Gonzalez controversy as part of a broad probe into his tenure with the Clinton administration and potential ties to presidential scandals during that era."

I guess this means that the Senate Republicans will support efforts to ferret out information and documents from the more timely W Administration ( DOJ especially) for future congressional probes, looking for "potential ties to presidential scandals during that era".
