Josh,

When I first read your explanation I thought you had a good point.

But after reading the responses, of posters like Christie Keith and GayIthacan , It is clear that they have better points.

You would not except these ads if they were for banning inter-racial marriage. Can you can explain to me,and yourself, how theses ads are any different...???

One other question.

If TPM had existed in the 1960's, would you have argued that your journalistic integrity obliged you to except ads for banning inter-racial marriage...???

All day this Sunday fundies across the nation will be bombarded with sermons telling them that vetoing for republickers is doing God's work...

Fundies do what they are told...

They will turn out in their usual large numbers...

I am not convinced that we will win... a combination of our apathy and their fear could still give the election to McBush....

The one point drop in the national polls may be for real...
But despite that it seems like Obama is settling in to more consistent leads in Ohio,Florida,and Virgina...

Maybe a little tightening is just what the doctor ordered to fight that ol' complacency bug.....

Hey don't get me wrong...I was just defending Ben Smith...

Politico is defiantly dominated by the Drudge worshiping Mike Allen and Rodger Simon...Most of the rest of the staff leans right too.

Ben Smith is one of the few Politico reporters that leans (slightly) to the left...

The funny thing is that MK3872's headline could apply to almost any other story...IMO..
