I'd like to point out something to those who believe that Republicans would be a bad choice for an Obama cabinet. Your view seems to be that Repubs are the cause of every evil and devisive failing of government over the past couple of decades. This is not quite true. The real cause of political division was the pseudo-con ideologues who wormed their way into positions of power. It was the strong-arm tactics of the shrub administration that kept moderate party members in line. I'm pretty sure that there won't be any ideologues from either the right OR the left side of the political spectrum in this new cabinet. Finally. An effective administration!

What I think is more significant about this interview is that our new president-elect has been saying the same thing for years, as opposed to McCain, who constantly changed his message. Or the shrub who promised to be a "compassionate" conservative and was anything but. Or Caribou Barbie whose only consistent message was to be as confusing as possible while saying nothing you could pin her down on.

Honor. Intelligence. Consistency. THAT's what America voted for on election day.

Uhhhmm, excuse me? I'm not sure about your position. If I understand you correctly however, Podesta claims that this new administration will embrace very strong ethics rules. You believe that his statement is a lie, and argue therefore that "Obama's backpedaling begins."

Yer weird. Entertainingly paranoiac, but weird.

Nonono, you don't understand. Hypocrisy is when you condemn something but honestly do not see that you're guilty of the same fault. The Reactionaries know exACTly what they're doing. That's called "contempt". That's also why, as expensive as it might be, the only way to fight it is to saturate the airwaves with ads not only showing the charges are lies, but showing how the shrovians are still trying to steal elections.

What I think would be a really neat commercial would be to start with a totally black screen. Then we hear a baby start to cry. Followed by another one. Then another one. Then another one. Eventually all you hear are crying babies. After a few seconds, the sound fades slightly, and we hear Sarah voice-over her "Jerks and idiots" comment.

Followed by "Sarah Palin. Tough. Strong. A fighter. Ready to lead."

Fade out on the babies. End of commercial.

If her feelings are hurt by a little anonymous criticism, think of how much fun we can have with a really negative ad.
