Are Birthers willing to get violent?

This was posted on Dr. orly Taitz, Esq. Web site earlier today. This came after word was released that Taitz' Barnett v. Obama suit had been trashed by a federal judge:

"Bring it on Friday, October 30, 2009 2:02 PM From: "Brian C" To: "Orly Taitz" <dr_taitz@yahoo.com>

If it takes riots in the streets to stand for the Constitution and kick an illegitimate President out of office, then bring it on.   The civil war took close to 600,000 largely white men to bring freedom for all.   Freedom  from Tyranny costs a great price as always.  The usurper could have avoided it all if he was an honest man. That makes two reasons to legally kick him out.   Friends of Truth"

If you read some of the crap that Taitz has written about Obama on her site, it's not too hard to imagine that she could whip up some mouth-breather to a violent rage.

And I guess "Friends of Truth" seem to think that's just all right.

This is what it sounds like when the ultra-right speaks, folks. Let's hope it's just hot air.

Keep the faith.

Bio

I’m a journalist working at the New Jersey Shore but based in Central New Jersey, where I live with my wife and our dog and cat. During my career, I've been responsible for two pieces of legislation enacted in New Jersey: one that allowed every fire department and fire academy in New Jersey to receive, free, a thermal imaging camera, and the second, which created a searchable Web database through which consumers could research nursing homes and their owners, and have access to reports of violations and other information. My reporting also led to the requirement that Supreme, Superior and Tax Court justices and judges file the same kind of financial disclosure forms as every other elected and appointed official in New Jersey. I was also part of a two-reporter team that exposed massive increases in the cost to close the U.S. Army's Fort Monmouth. I have also written a book, “Savage Lies: The Half-Truths, Distortions and Outright Lies of a Right-Wing Blowhard,” which deconstructs the first three books written by right-wing talk radio host Michael Savage. The book is available at Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com and can be ordered wherever books are sold.
