FYI,
Usually when someone is on vacation their replacement starts of the show by saying so and so is 'off' this week, etc. And they seem to not have planned for replacing her in my perception. Hopefully it is just an undetermined break and all is well.

I at least scan the stories from a lot of sites (liberal ones). You miss a lot of interesting stuff if you don't. If I was really brave I would do the winger sites too but there is a limit to my madness.

I actually go to far too many liberal sites. I am addicted but I do love talkingpoints. I think the posters here are extremely knowledgeable and very smart.
Huffingtonpost has wayy too many advertisements and silly stories. I skim their site every day but have stopped posting.

I came across an old video where she 'squared off' with jughead. It was kind of funny. Probably at Media Matters.
She has added so much to the MSNBC lineup.

Olbermann was AWOL first, and with no announcement by him that he would be off. Maddow followed in the same way. Both absences coincided with the tsunami coverage of Michael Jackson on MSNBC.
I attempted to watch both shows last night and couldn't believe they were still devoting so much time to Jackson.

Sorry to get y'all het up!!! I was just surprised that I didn't hear any announcements to that effect on the show, on the substitute shows or on the web site. I don't think Twitter is the source everyone who watches the show would rush to to find out if someone on MSNBC was on vacation. ;-)
