• Politics Independent, like the old guys Washington, Adams, Jefferson... from there it went downhill. Liked Ike and Johnson, too. Had to agree with some of Reagan and some of Clinton. Bush hater since 9-11, suspicious of him as soon as he started surrounding himself with the "crazies." Believe reps should only do as the people want. They are to truly represent. Would like to go back to Senators being elected by a super-majority of statehouses. Would like to see fed turn over to states most its business and cut the fed budget by half. Then double states budgets and the remainder, about 20 percent could go back into the people's pockets.

Military brat. Father and sister are both retired Army Colonels. USAF VN Veteran Designer, writer for pr and mktg married 30 years. Father on Dad's side, farmer, born in Norway came to US and ND when 2. Mother on Dad's side related to Wm Brewster of Mayflower. Dad on mom's side Cadillac dealer who left his family in Mpls. moving to CA in teen's, died at 29. Mom on mom's side left Tenn (town now underwater) with sister in teen's, running away from 64 year man she was married off to when she was 15. Married 4 times, last one lasted 56 years with a man nicknamed Nevada Bill, who wrangled horses after serving in WWI then worked on the dams out west during WPA years.
