Things ain't necessarily what they seem......
This is darkly hilarious, given the right perspective:

It seems that just when you think you have people figured out and they appear to be thinking and doing exactly what you want them to, they run off and think for themselves.

Ain't religion a wonderous thing? How the oppressed can so quickly and easily become an oppressor. On randi Rhodes show one woman called in to express her surprise. She said she never sent to an African-American church where the choir was NOT led by someone who was gay. of course, making it a black thing just neglects to mention it was a Mormon thing. Again, oppressed people oppressing. Ain't religion a wonderous thing?

And how is this funny, exactly? Bigots take the day and it's a joke to you? Religious-based ignorance cloaking its hatred in some dubious "holy book" as a basis for discrimination without recrimination, while all around crocodile tears are wept? AWESOME.
I certainly hope that you never experience an ignorant religiously-motivated group voting to take away your civil rights, but I guess then we'd be able to chat about how HIGH-larious it all really is.
Church, stay the FUCK out of my state. Praise the US Constitution!
