Imagine if McCain, early in the general campaign, had tried to address the issue of race and made it clear that with an AA opponent, instances of racism wouldn't be tolerated. McCain has instead shown no moral leadership. McCain didn't make this up, but so many of the state-level Republicans have shown such horrible racist tendencies that McCain, if he had any clout and leadership, would have made it clear this is unacceptable.

As much of an Obama supporter as I am, I think this years' election results, assuming a Democratic win, should rightfully be called The Bush Effect. I say this after canvassing, and hearing so many say "well, I won't be voting for the Republicans". Also, I think any Democrat running should win since Bush 43 is the Worst. President. Ever.

Obama's tax message is getting out. I was canvassing today and met an undecided voter. I asked her about what she liked about Obama, and she said his tax plan--she even quoted the $250,000 figure (that we'd see no tax increase if we make below that).
