I know a lot has been made about how the Palin pick galvanized the republican party, and I think us liberal-minded people tend to lump republics into the neoconservative column,but surely there has to be some sane republicans out there that find the Palin pick appalling. 
Does anyone know of any polls that measure republican discomfort, or are considering voting for Obama? I'd be interested to see how many follow Hagels thinking. There's a lot of talk of democrat disunity, but how are the republicans doing on this front?
