Illegal Immigration - Final Solution?
You may have missed the rather obscure post in which it made its debut, but a TPM commenter with a deep interest in ethnic, economic and sociological issues has offered a far-reaching proposal for dealing with the challenges of illegal immigration in the US.
Here is a key passage:
"Two or three hundred acre enclosures could be fenced in to warehouse the illegals. They should be fed coarse foods during their incarceration and provided minimal shelter. No hurry should be made in prosecuting the illegal aliens."
I'm certain that the author would appreciate input from the community regarding this bold proposal. For greater ease of discussion, please leave any comments on this post (rather than the linked post which is now defunct).

You're utterly, and immorally, wrong.
Show us the wording that limits it to citizens. Here is the 8th Amendment:
"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."
Other amendments say things like "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial...", or "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury..."
The Constitution applies to persons within our borders, at minimum. It also applies to US Citizens abroad. It also applies to actions US citizens take regarding other persons outside our borders. The Constitution applies to, but is not limited to, citizens. In your case we might make an exception.

It's simply a reasonable, judicious and efficient use of law enforcement. It would have a total price tag amounting to three or four hours of government provided social services to illegal aliens.

"Ignorance" I don't mind. But here's the gig with this one. Not feeding them doesn't work. They also have exactly the same tic - and showed up at the same time - as one who was banned. So they're likely just back under another name.
Put that aside, this one likes to spell out nasty/violent shit that they think - or would like to see inflicted upon - various large groups. This isn't as you say, just a "bit of provocation" or "ignorance." It's about rounding up illegal immigrants and putting them in camps. Being adult, I have to confess to minimal concern about the outcome of this little effort, there's nothing of tangible value at stake here.
Aside from being amusing, this is illustrative of how weak minded people quickly coalesce into a mob mentality when they discover they’re not alone in responding to what they perceive to be an irritant.
The obvious solution would be to minimize the occurrences of high proportional concentrations of weak minded people. Odds would be greatly enhanced reason would prevail in potentially volatile situations. Well, it is not as easy as that. Our Freedom of association tends to segregate people along those lines naturally. And the exponential expansion of choices provided by the internet facilitates it. I don't see anyone advocating housing illegal immigrants in these "pens" for a long time. It seems to me that the idea is to house them there while waiting to deport them, with the assumption that if they agree to leave on their own prior to a hearing where they challenge the deportation (essentially analogous to pleading guilty instead of going to trial in a cirminal case or settling out of court in a lawsuit) they would immediately be taken out and sent back to their home country.
This idea may be a bit draconian, but it isn't the same thing as death camps.
Personally, I believe that the goal ought to be simply to deny illegal aliens jobs and most will self-deport. I don't dislike illegal aliens myself. I just like them a lot better in their countries of origin.

I’m sure some who read this thread find my tormentors to be somewhat overzealous. I’ll explain why.

The root cause of ‘prejudice’ against this group is they are economic colonists. As colonists they are always in the minority. A must for retaining colonial control is pitting various groups in the colony against one another for the purpose of weakening their sense of unity. Thus their never ending touting of minority grievances and achieving genetic and cultural atomization through promotion of licentious and depraved sexual behavior. They are the greatest purveyors of pornography on earth.
If one will notice, enmity against this chosen group is strongest where it originated and today maintains its greatest presence. It is a sore spot on the planet and the point at which they commit their most grievous and overt atrocities against humanity.
