I don't know why the letter is being described as a "B" since the letter is shaped like a mirror image of a B.

Umm, maybe the attacker was standing above her when he cut her?

Sorry, but to me this one reeks of Au de Susan Smith.

I'll lay out the timeline as offered by the reports I have read thus far.

1. The victim is a McCain volunteer, a member of a college Republican club and was in PA, but is a TX resident. (10/22)

2. The victim was first accosted outside of camerashot of an ATM in PA. (10/22)

3. The victim was robbed by an armed "large (6' 4", Barack Obama-sized) black man" and was allowed to retreat towards her car, unfettered. (10/22)

4. The alleged perpetrator, a politically astute armed robber to boot, was not only enraged to further action (beyond robbery) by a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on the victim's car, which she happened to have driven from TX to PA in-semester, but also so enraged as to re-engage the victim--not to force her back to the ATM to withdraw more $$ from her account, but to scratch (being careful not to penetrate the skin) an incredibly legible "B" on to her face, and in backwords form, which so happens to replicate a mirror image. 5. On report of the incident, the victim refuses medical treatment, not only for potential optical damage due to a reported blow to the eye, but also for the "B" marking that was inflicted with a foreign object, potentially contaminated by environmental elements and/or 2nd and 3rd party body fluids. The potential long-term damage of that marking or "carving" as it has been reported, could also be mitigated with cosmetic surgical attention. (10/22)

6. The day after the incident (10/23), the victim seeks medical treatment and subsequently authorizes her college Republican club to upload full frontal photos to the internet, which clearly physically identify her to members of the public and her alleged attacker.

AND FINALLY

7. In research of conflicting reports of the incident, it is revealed that the victim's myspace page contains language from the member touting the virtues and joys of lying.

Now, I stipulate that the initial news reports of the incident are both vague and conflicting AND as a longtime victim of domestic violence I hope that I am wrong-headed regarding this matter, but something about this, at this very moment, does not pass the smell test.

Crazy - you never responded to my post regarding "that guy in my neighborhood". Please don't accuse me of only telling half a story. Obama never raised the board connection. Hillary was the one who raised the additional information. Obama tried to get by with just mentioning that Ayers was someone who lived in his neighborhood and he knows. Nice try.

This entire story reeks of being unlikely. While it’s possible and won’t be proven, I wouldn’t put it past McCain or this girl to stage this. All the girl has to do is scratch a fine B into her face. Then show up after dark at a deserted ATM machine, call the police and claim she was attacked. If she had any previous bruises that would only help to further back it up. But even that wasn’t needed.

Why is the B backwards? Because the girl probably made it while standing in a mirror. Duh, lol. Or was the attacker so smart he made it so she’d see it as a reflection in her mirror later? How poetic. BOY, that attacker sure had a lot of time to plan this out. You’d think most black attackers in the dark would have run off with the $60 cash. Not stand around and draw artwork on someones face.

If this weren’t unlikely enough, it appears on the internet within hours. You can’t say that was accidental. But more unlikely is that someone during a robbery would even think, “wow, I better mark a B on her face because I noticed her bumper sticker is from McCain”. And she happens to work for McCain. Wow, what a coincidence. I NEVER said this didn’t happen to her, but it’s VERY suspicious and points to the fact that she may want media attention.

She could very well be mccains next Joe the plumber media buzz. Only she represents the concept that Obama supporters must be black and hateful. Need proof? 3 out of 4 articles out tonight are already slanted to suggest this very notion. So this is the purpose of this showing up in the media. Possibly to cover up the fact that there are dozens of videos of mccain supporters that are hate filled. And what does mccain always do? Lie and accuse someone else of what he’s guilty of.

So all of this is quite fitting given it’s only 12 days before the election. Just a coincidence? I’ll admit what happened to the girl may be real, but this is the fakest attempt I’ve ever seen.
