If, in 2010, the recession has, as ones of this magnitude historically do, advanced, the likely national cry will be "Help us O Federal govt. you needed to do more!" Any republicans making the case that "Obama's" stimulus package didn't work will also be saddled with the blame for obstructing it.  At that point, it's goodbye to everyone who stood in the way. Supermajority, anyone?     </p>]]>
