It's OK to be a hick as long as your facts are accurate. Even hicks should avoid truthiness, never mind outright lies. It is OK not to be so angry when discussing hick'ness and things dear to hicks.
It will be interesting to watch what Uncle Limb has to say.

Harding gets "jobs" - at the local Stop-N-Rob, perhaps? What else is she qualified for, besides Celebrity Boxing?
With Bernie Goldberg, no less. (True story - a friend of mine was a longtime CBS'er, and said Goldberg was the single worst correpondent he'd ever worked with, on multiple levels. Nearly pitched him into a hotel pool once for treating his soundman badly.)
This was a trip into the Twilight Zone...

She's definitely wrong about one thing: I'd never pay a dime to go see her perform. Heck, I wouldn't go to see her perform even if she paid me.
If she's infamous, that's her own fault. She can't blame Obama for that.

I always had a sympathetic nerve for Harding -- she is the flip side to the Horatio Alger story. She's the "trailer trash," "girl from the projects" who doesn't escape her past. Skating might have been her way up and out ... but it wasn't.
Of course, here in America, there's no forgiveness for that kind of failure to "live up to the American dream." Commit a crime, "pay your debt to society" and move on? Not in this country.
Meanwhile, the self-righteous millions will flock to ball parks to see Barry Bonds & A-Rod play for millions of dollars. Go figure.
