He Believes Americans Can Do Anything! Bye God, We are All Republicans!
Oh My God! Jindal is in competition for the Palinites. This is the hope of the Republican Party??? This is just as embarrassing as a Palin interview (other than Fox News).
Rachel Maddow was left speechless. Literally. Steele, Palin, Jindal, McCain, Limbaugh and Santelli are the leaders of our Republican Party. We are all Republicans!

I actually liked his 'speech' because it just made it apparent why Obama and Dems are deserving of their high poll numbers.

At TPM I put it something like this:
President: We are on a new course, with new goals, with plans to see those goals attained.
Other Guy: youre a poopy pants.

I didn't watch it. I knew it would be ridiculous, especially after the things Obama said. I was naive enough to think for one second that Jindal would have an alternate speech just in case Obama rocked the house. I watched Obama on CSPAN, did anyone see that he was signing autographs?

I noticed that.

Who were those guys? Politicians or regular citizens? I even saw Jesse Jackson Jr. get a signature.

I'm not sure. But I think the majority of the folks there were legislatures.

Bush used to sign autographs too. I think they all do. But I agree with how silly it is that people ask for them.

Most of those autographs are for the constituents back home...you know, a veteran is being honored for a service to country or even (gasp!) a local person who worked hard to fund raise for the party would like a little something real in recognition. It's not like a movie star autograph.

Wow.
Yes we can do anything, including using anecdotes of fond memories with Sheriff Lee in a national address. For an interesting introduction to Sheriff Lee, here's an article:

Jindal reminded me of the guys on those late night informercials: Shamwow can do anything. *pause to smile* Look. *gesture at spokesmodel using Shamwow* See. Shamwow can do anything.

Except Shamwow is for cleaning up puddles, not making them.
