Clinton as Secretary of State

According to Keith Olberman. It would certainly be a bold move and a show on strength on his part.

Update: NBC Andrea Mitchell reported that

Two Obama advisers have told NBC News that Hillary Clinton is under consideration to be secretary of state. Would she be interested? Those who know Clinton say possibly.  But her office says that any decisions about the transition are up to the president-elect and his team.
ABC news is reporting that

'Discussions about Clinton, D-N.Y., being asked to accept the post are "very serious," an Obama source says.'
I have no idea whether Hillary is really being considered or if it is more media speculation. To put someone of that stature in that position would reflects a great deal of confidence on the president-elect's part.

Why would Hillary want the position? When you consider what the US and the world have been through in the past 8 years -- Bush Doctrine, two wars, terrorism, Iran and Israel -- the Secretary of State will have a pivotal role in reestablishing American's leadership in the world.

As to the apparent disagreement in foreign policy between Hillary and Obama, I don't see Hillary's position since 9/11 and during the presidential primary as nothing more than political posturing for her presidential run.
