Terrorist Onslaught in Kansas
Abortion clinic doctor finally executed. After years of terrorist attacks by both anti-abortion provocateurs as well as the legal machinery of the State of Kansas, George Tiller was shot and killed at his church this morning.
His clinic has recently been under siege by vandals and it is reported that he was seeking FBI assistance.
Here's a tip to the help the clueless FBI. Look in the basement of the Wichita Baptist Church to see if there's a guy down there being cared and pampered for with enthusiastic aplomb. Immediately test him for gunpowder residue.

I agree, Cville. Had to count to 10 before commenting. Oddly, I was just reading about Tiller this week. The article was about the vandalism destruction that took place earlier this month at his clinic. Apparently, he was almost done with the repairs.

Asshole here closes every single blog or comment he does with "Enjoy." Doesn't matter of it's about child rape or murder or whatever. Really - go back over his blogs. He doesn't seem to get that adding that little catchphrase of his - "enjoy" - no matter what the subject matter, basically says, "I'm an attention-seeking freak, and there is absolutely nothing about this story more important than me."

Well, Tim, you got the TPM-Nazis after you now. I'm just surprised that quinn didn't get the obvious tone of this was extreme frustration on the bloggers part. He normally has more insight, especially given the ironic choices he makes in his own blogs.
The English is quite clear and the phrase "clueless FBI" should have helped clue you in.
I guess it didn't.
The people who had a hangup on this post should just set up set up their own posting board where they can talk among themselves with all the phrasing purity that they require.

psssst: please cut & paste all the many people who "got" what I didn't. I reviewed the thread. Don't see what you're talking about, but there's nothing new there. There are only 3 comments other than mine and yours, seashell's and quinn's, plus the blogger himself. The ones I mentioned, definitely don't "get" it.

"Execution" describes the methodical nature of the crime in the same way gang killings are often refered to as executions.

Execute was not used in haste. If I felt like this particular brand of lunatic expression wasn't fully aided and abetted mainly by what I'd refer to as "religious judicial processes" I would have used a more euphemistic synonym like killed, or the less specific, but equally applicable word, assassination.

I claim broad immunity from the slings and arrows of those who fail to appreciate my peculiar brand of poetic and metaphoric expression even when it is totally off base, although that's hardly the case in this example.
He had been 'judged' guilty of murder by the religious community and multiple calls (death warrants) to inflict 'justice' upon him are part and parcel of the public record.

It’s terrorism and it will continue I guess until someone shoots Bill O’Reilly, Randall Terry, and James Dobson in both arms (1993 attack on Tiller), bombs their offices (1986), blockades their offices (1991), cuts the wires to their office security systems, chops holes in their roofs and plugs up the drainage system, (last month), mounts protests at their churches, homes, and offices (repeatedly) and finally walks into the vestibules of their respective churches while they’re serving as ushers handing out church bulletins, with their wives upstairs singing in the choir, and shoots them to death, evidently in the face so that witnesses will have to tell the police who the victims are, just like Tiller.
Then maybe, just maybe, the kind of disgusting violent rhetoric by the likes of these goons against doctors like Tiller who perform legal abortions will cease.
