Keeping the Testicles Under Cover
Looks like the torture administration officials are feeling their oats right now. They've got quite a few people out shilling their ticking time bomb scenarios. I hear they've even got a preacher or two hawking torture just for good measure!
Whether any of that will matter when the true story of how we tortured toddler's testicles (to get their parent's 'compliance') comes out will be interesting to see.
Word up torture apologists: Better hone up on your sophist skill set, because Jesus loves him some little children...
Enjoy.

My thought ... elaborate? Or is it simply speculation to provide a stark example of how depressing the times we live in have become ... that this feels unlikely, but horribly plausible?

When Yoo was testifying before Congress he was asked about whether this would be torture. He couldn't say...well he actually said "I think it depends on why the President thinks he needs to do that"

I'm of the opinion that such a question would never have been asked unless the asking individual already knew it had happened. For the same reason, Yoo couldn't say it was illegal because then it's game over and we get to go arrest Bush.
Enjoy.

Man, I hope you are wrong. There's going to be sexual assault coming out soon without question. It was remarked on when the soon-to-be released Abu Ghraib photos were shown to congress.
It sure seems an unlikely question to pull out of the blue.

On closer inspection, that seems to be from a debate at Notre Dame with Doug Cassel(a professor) - not a congressional hearing. Takes it down a notch on the mind-blowing scale. in that context, it could easily be a pure hypothetical.

I'm willing to bet that there's no end to their depravity once they started down the torture road.
Enjoy.
