Michael Steele is pro choice.  His stint as RNC chair now has the life expectancy of a mayfly.  He positions himself as the most outspoken mainstream republican in a vast array of people who believe what he believes, but are afraid Rush will crap all over them if they express the truth.

When the inevitable Rushpublican Revolution falters, Mr. Steele will find himself well served by the massive publicity given his viewpoints, since they happily coincide with the vast majority of republicans, just not the few nutjobs who have seized control of the microphones......

The documents, filed Wednesday in Boulder District Court, said witnesses told authorities that Derik Bonestroo walked into a building at work, fired a gun into the ceiling and said: "If you're not Christian, you're going to die."

General manager Brian Mahon was shot and killed Dec. 30 at the ski area west of Nederland, Colo., in Boulder County. Witnesses said when Bonestroo asked Mahon's religion, Mahon said "Catholic" and Bonestroo shot him twice: in the chest and head. Mahon is believed to have died instantly.

Wonder how a Mormon would have fared?

Two things we're never to ask in polite company: 

1.  Who is getting all the trillions of dollars the government is handing out to the bankers with 'no strings attached'?  Whose idea is/was that?  Criminal trials ought to be headlining the news, instead of repeated bailout requests.

2.  Who authorized and tortured the testicles of toddlers on behalf of the Bush administration?   As long as the illusion can be maintained that the torturing was somehow justified we're not gonna look into it.  When is torturing the testicles of toddlers justified?  How about torturing half the population of Iraq over the where-abouts of non-existent WMD's?  War crimes were clearly committed.
