Should We Consider Trying to Get a Group Rate on an Exorcist?
Just askin'. Being that we're creeping socialists and all, maybe we could share The Expense.
Seriously, until it's solved, don't miss the CSCS post, Journalism is a Two-Way Street? As I remarked there, during apartheid, it was a choice between getting the truth out or getting paid. The stakes were higher, actually.
The truth was banned and blocked in the known (mainstream) universe within apartheid's time-space coordinates. A sense of humor was a survival skill, along with a high tolerance for ambiguity, and the ability to articulate, among one's fellows, the multiple ironies on a daily basis. CSCS has all of these talents, and more. (Actually, I heard a rumor that he was so enterprising as a boy that he used to rent out his toys). Do see his current piece of levity on New Jersey's ongoing dilemma, too. It seems they are having trouble coming up with an authentic state song. When did NJ become a colony?
Please recover more of today's posts here. We may need to alternate performing this kind of service for a season, but let's keep writing, and let's stay in good touch in the days ahead. In times like ours, the worst thing you can do is start censoring yourself out of a sense of futility. No lie can live forever. Blog on, mates!
More soon,
Tish
