There is something very wrong with this picture. The financial sector gets to screw up big time and put the worlds finances on thin ice but when it comes to America having healthcare like any other developed country we get dumped on. Not to mention the criminals who made the financial mess are all still right there figuring out ways to screw us. All while they are throwing millions at our elected officials campaign coffers. With our tax dollars. I'll bet they expect us to pay our taxes next April 15th too. I know Bill Maher said Americans are stupid and he makes a good point. The question is just how stupid are we?

Mayor Bloomberg, mayor of NYC, expressed the idea that pharma execs don't make much money.

He then proceeded to name several, all of whom make more than $10M a year.

As I write this I am laughing uncontrollably because it is so absurdly funny.

I'd bet money that wage inflation above a certain income level would make the ordinary wage earner gag. Given that higher income levels continue to garner a growing share of overall income it is probably even worse. On top of that government pays hugely inflated prices for everything. Stagnating wages at the low and median income levels is more than made up by increases at the upper levels. I'd love to see the inflation numbers for the seventy five percentile and up.

The numbers for all of this are hidden in the aggregate. I am sure like most everything else that goes on in the world of finance it is all bullshit.
