Republicans playing politics while America burns

This is just so transparent. Republicans could care less about America or American workers. And there are democrats who are the same. This is a continuation of stealing from American workers and transferring the proceeds into the pockets of Wall Street investors. There is no regard to what it actually costs to live in this country. And to top it off you can be sure it'll make things worse when workers can't pay their mortgages.

I was just watching Sen Corker on MSNBC and he is scum. Gettelfinger weighed in on this and directly accused Corker and the republican caucus of a direct attack on labor. How can you miss the conflict of interest of these republican senators who have foreign producers in their states. The tax break incentives handed to the foreign producers absolutely makes the idea of cost equity a sham. It's a big lie all the way. Nor can I get my head around the idea of the big 3 providing health care coverage as a negative. Absent a national health care system where will workers and their families obtain care? Republican resistance to move to a national health care system while being critical of employers who provide health care is absurd. Our senators don't care about that though. They have a great health care plan that is unique just for memebrs of congress. What fucking assholes.

Surprise! Surprise! Working Americans are gonna get screwed - AGAIN!

Senate Republicans are holding the auto company work force hostage after giving trillions to Wall Street. What a crock. Labor has been getting hammered for years and this is more of the same. Detroit management went with high margin vehicles and Wall Street went the route of high risk investments and both screwed the pooch.

And who are they going after to pay for their screwup? Why the working persons of this country, of course.

I saw this coming weeks ago and just knew it would come down to this. It's all part of the Bush crimewave. After stealing trillions to cover their failed high risk investments now they are going to give still more to Wall Street by taking still more money out of the pockets of working Americans which will end up in the pockets of investors.

This country is run by criminals for sure.

Blagojevich Toast

It's early in the game but if what is being reported and if what the FBI has commented about regarding wiretaps is substantiated, Blagojevich is going up the river for sure. I thought Bush was the dumbest ever, then along comes a challenger intent on rewriting the record books. It sounds like Blagojevich all but hung out a sign putting the vacant senate seat up for sale. There aren't words to describe this. Like they say, you just can't make this shit up.

Just think if we knew all the crap that has gone on for quite a few years that has caused the financial meltdown. I'm guessing it won't take too awful long before all the dirt starts leaking. Too many people have taken a bath to keep a lid on it. We might even have a new contender for the dumbest ever crown. And right in the middle of this are our senators and congresspersons who are the marks in the biggest sting in all of history. I know the ticket is expensive but this is great theater. There is one thing I can't decide on. Is this supposed to be a comedy or a tragedy?
