What to DO?

McCain is so stuck when the bailout comes up for a vote in the senate.

He can't not vote.

If the plan sucks for regular citizens he is in trouble with them.

If it sucks for Wall Street he is in trouble with them.

Obama has an easy choice in relative terms.

The reason McCain is stuck is because he's a flip-flopper deluxe. He has played both sides of things so much, now he has no safe haven.

The Lie Continues

Listening to the cable news you'd think the economic disaster were a natural disaster that not a soul could have prevented.

The way it is being reported is as if the people that are there had nothing to do with this. Or that congress had nothing to do with it. Thankfully a few of our elected officials are insisting that people who are at risk of losing their homes are included in whatever plan is devised.

The golden parachutes are still under negotiation so we'll have to wait on that. I sure hope they get shot down. To grant those would be the same as ignoring the culpability of Paulson and Bernanke.

I don't see how the reporting could be applauding, and it is, the likes of Paulson and Bernanke and even considering golden parachutes. This is a fantasy show without a doubt.

And the negotiations to bail out foreign banks are still ongoing. Thats another joke. Why are we even considering having U.S. taxpayers bail out foreign banks.

The congress and Bush are fighting over new powers for the treasury. This has a familiar ring to it.

This is a travesty. Taxpayer dollars are being stolen by the very people that brought us this mess, all of whom are Wall Street born and bred. Make no doubt about it.

Foreign Banks Getting a Piece of US Taxpayers Too

As if US taxpayers weren't already getting the screwing of the century, now it is being reported that foreign banks who hold the same securities that US banks are getting relief from will also be eligible for that same relief. There is no way US taxpayers should be on the hook for a foreign nations liabilities. This is outrageous. I will have to contact my senator again today and demand that if this is the case then our banks no longer have any right to lobby our congresspersons or senators. They are not citizens in any way shape or form and this proves it. Get them and their lobbyists the hell out of our nations capitol and away from our lawmakers. And if they come within 100 fett of any of OUR representatives it's open season on their asses.
