Bush in S. Korea


One group gets nothing and the other gets doused by water canon. That doesn’t sound like freedom to me. It sounds like a different point of view that the South Korean government isn’t willing to tolerate. That Bush is at the center of this conveys a message. Bush says he enjoys coming to a free society. He wouldn’t recognize freedom if it bit hime in the ass. That we have less after eight years should come as no surprise.

What are the odds that Congress will (or won't) question persons named in Ron Suskinds book in congressional hearings or maybe even an impeachment proceeding?

There is nothing humorous about the tack the McCain campaign is taking. This exposes the distorted view that McCain and republicans have of all that has happened over the last several years and of the state of race relations in this country. This also informs us of the reasons for why we find ourselves at odds with ethnic Muslims or other ethnic groups who happen not to agree ideologically with Christian right wing conservatives. That McCain is amused by the race baiting tactic he has adopted raises serious issues for the nation under a McCain presidency. It is well documented how Bush and republicans have sought to undermine the rights of minority voters. The conduct of the McCain campaign brings this into view in a very pointed way.
