Rush Limbaugh: Days of his impunity are over.
To his great shock, Rush Limbaugh has come to find out that days of his impunity are over. Gone are times when he would utilize his flippant rhetoric to maximum effect against his perceived foes and get away with it. The effectiveness of his trash talk masquerading as political wisdom has often accrued from the absence of any effort on the part of liberals and progressives untill now to relentlessly and ruthlessly confront him at every turn and expose the caricature he has turned himself into. Never mind that he is so revered in Republican-Conservative circles to saintly and messianic proportions.
Republicans are following Limbaugh blindly and unquestioningly without a scintilla of shame. Clowns and imposters like him are partly responsible for the crisis the GOP is going through. Republicans are in shambles today because their anti-intellectual orientation has inhibited their ability to place at the helm of their party a leader who understands the intellectual subtleties as well as social and political nuances underlying the complexity of the American polity. They need a leader who is endowed with clarity as to the social dynamics animating our society. Someone who has a feel of the aspiration of the American people, especially those whose overarching aims remain the achievement of the American dream even in the face of irrefutable evidenve that, for some, that dream is slipping away.

They will find the rant. They are playing with the budget bs that they have played with for 80 years. Small government, low taxes blah, blah, blah
Spending our grandchildren's money. that is another one.
Soon they will go back to declaring that Dems hate families, Dems kill babies, Dems hate religion.
They will get 'their act together' but will Americans buy it? I mean outside of Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Oklahoma. That is the issue.
But as long as they cling to this rush bs, the Dems will keep growing.

But Rush really does represent what the Republican Party has stood for, for over a century. Sure they tone it down until they think no one is listening but Rush speaks the irrational truth of their true heart.
And it's not that plenty of people haven't been pointing out what a lying madman he is. There is a whole cottage industry keeping track of Rush's lies, ravings and immoral buffoonery.
But as for Republicans finding a leader who cares about the American people? That would be completely against their reason for existance.
Democrats may screw their interns but Republicans screw everybody who isn't rich. It's just what they do and don't be fooled into thinking otherwise.

you give him to much credit.
A)he never had the power you think he did and B)what you see as his payback is inaccurate too, simply because of the first fact.
this stuff is always a wash .
these people have found their audience long ago.
nothing changes that.
