A few months ago, someone offered a substantial reward -- a non-alcoholic beverage -- if someone could link the Republicans to the TPM blog spam from JamesDD/GSB27.

We did better than that. The White House has been indirectly linked to what appears to be a massive disinformation effort on TPM.

Check back for answers to specific questions.

What gave it away was the common language on an external website, and the link between the White House and a law firm.

The poster on TPM has a substantial relationship with the University of Chicago. This is interesting because they claimed to have been living in Pennsylvania.

They have two confirmed ways of connecting with TPM: One through New Jersey, and a second through Illinois.

It is unclear how many other TPM posters are similarly indirectly-connected with the White House; or whether the alleged similarly-situated-TPM-posters are using other methods to cloak their access to TPM.

A cursory analysis of the external website yielded some interesting results. Usually, when someone is using a cloaking device or an ISP proxy, they might appear to be linked with multiple differnet IPs, and untraceable.

However, the poster, allegedly working indirectly for a law firm indirectly linked to the President, made a fatal error. They posted a unique URL which appears in only ten (10) different places on the internet.

The similarity is not random.  Once we checked the unique URL on the external website, we found that the language of the URL, the URL extension, and the poster all matched a unique posting on TPM.

The content, IP, subject, timing, and posting style are sufficiently specific that it defies reason that someone else -- other than JamesDD/GSB27 -- was posting the content on both TPM and the external website with the same IP and the same topic.

This established a connection between TPM, the poster, the University of Chicago, and the external website.

Once we then back traced the content posted on TPM, we found a curious pattern. The poster consistently expressed an interest in the President, they attempted to deflect the conversation from Geneva, and consistently feigned confusion about public relations efforts.

This created one profile which -- surprise, surprise -- tended to match specific, by-name legal counsel connected with the University of Chicago, indirectly linked with the Wecht prosecutor, and the law firm.

Unfortunately, using this unique content, the JamesDD/GSB27 IP was indirectly linked through a hotel booking site, which matched the same hotel reservation system used by the law firm.

This does not mean that the law firm is engaged in any criminal activity, nor that they are directly responsible for the postings, nor that they necessarily were working at the behest of the White House or GOP.

Rather, we allege that there are signifigant patterns of communications which substantially destroy the claims of JamesDD/GSB27. They claimed they were not with DOJ. This might be true, but they did not exclude the possibility that they were linked with a law firm associated with the President, Department of Justice, and Wecht Prosecutor.

The posting patterns of JamesDD/GSB27 are consistent: The times they posted were similar; and the ways that they moved back and forth between the New Jersey accounts and the University of Chicago show a substantial relationship strongly supporting the conclusion that they are linked through an alleged common scheme.

Another curious pattern was the consistent distraction away from the public relations-related content at the OMNI William Penn Hotel in Philadelphia. You guessed it: The same law firm is connected with this digital data forensics communications conference.

Once we established a link between GSB27/JamesDD and the University of Chicago, and the apparent effort by others to distract attention from public relations, we developed a second profile. You guessed it: That second profile also appears to match three (3) by-name lawyers at a specific law firm.

Surprise, surprise: That law firm is indirectly linked with the same hotel booking system, the digital data forensics conference at the OMNI, the University of Chicago, the Wecht Prosecutor, and the President.

We discovered multiple lines of independent, admissible evidence pointing to the same conclusions:

This was an organized effort;

Lawyers were indirectly connected;

There were conflicting statements;

Legal counsel appear to have made misrepresentations indirectly through others.

What further complicates the problem for the President: The information that was narrowly linked with JamesDD/GSB27's IP is information that is related to the Wecht Prosecutor. That information also matches narrow, discrete information posted on TPM.

It appears the information connected with the Wecht Prosecutor was updated regularly, and the prosecutor is indirectly linked with this law firm, which appears to be using the same hotel reservation system connected through the common IP.

Once we established a reasonable basis to inquire into the law firm, we noted that there were password updates being openly discussed. The alleged software coder self-reports that they are simultaenously located in Iran and a Central American country.

This software coder disclosed a specific MD5 encryption technology associated with the law firm, and disclosed specific codes related to the password encryption process linked with this law firm, and by implication indirectly with the Wecht Prosecutor and the President.

We encourage the TPM community to approach the Wecht Counsel and encourage them to have issued a subpoena to all University of Chicago-related personnel who were involved with the digital data forensics conference. This would help the Wecht counsel understand whether there were unauthorized public relations efforts by the Department of Justice to dissuade TPM and the public from aggressively looking at the alleged link between the Wecht Prosecution and the President's political ambitions.

If proven, the alleged public relations efforts could violate prosecutor standards of conduct prohibiting disclosures outside the Department of Justice, or making statements through others that are otherwise prohibited by the attorney standards of conduct. Prosecutors are not allowed to use the media to tilt public opinion against a specific criminal defendant. This compromises the (reasonably expected) independence of the jury pools.

What complicates the issue are the alleged lines of evidence involving Geneva which appear linked to the DOJ Prosecutors. We're not looking narrowly at White House blog spam, but an apparent effort to materially affect an ongoing international war crimes investigation.

We learned through the DoD emails related to military analysts the President does engage in media relations to affect the public debate, tamper with evidence provided to Congress, and shift attention away from US government legal obligations under the laws of war.

Discovery Plan

Understandably, because the issues with defamation, we are not able to name the law firm, nor can we specifically identify the counsel who are suspected to indirectly know -- through intermediaries -- James DD/GSB27.

The above information should be construed as merely advisory. More details will be available. The law firm has been under electronic surveillance for many months using various surveillance methods which are lawful, consistent with the Constitution reserves for the public.

We encourage the TPM community to explore -- on your own -- all available information you have related to the JamesDD/GSB27 postings:

1. Content Analysis

Discuss the similarity between their posting styles

2. Poster Schedules

Note patterns in their posting times

3. Content Analysis

Look for the other locations on the web where their unique URLs have been narrowly cross posted

4. Other Access Portals, MD5 Encryption

Look for information disclosing a link between their IP and external platforms which may or may not be narrowly isolated to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Illinois

5. Robust Poster Profiling

Develop a profile of the person posting: Notice the issues they are avoiding; attempt to assess their legal background; and develop a profile on which specific topics they are avoiding, and which areas they appear to be feigning confusion.

6. Solidify Alleged Link Between TPM Postings and White House

Attempt to link their disclosed information through common IPs to law firms, contractors, and other entities indirectly related to the President and the Wecht Prosecutor.

7. Examine Legal Counsel connected With University of Chicago

Specifically identify and interview the lawyers at specific law firms which are using the same University of Chicago access portals, and are also indirectly linked to the Wecht prosecutor and the President.

8. Expand Preliminary Attorney Disciplinary Investigation

Get an explanation from the independently identified law firms whether they plan to conduct an internal investigation, and/or forward their findings to the Pennsylvania attorney disciplinary board.

9. Broaden Oversight

Discuss with the Department of Justice, House and Senate Judiciary Committees, the GOP, and White House whether they have any plans to review this alleged indirect connection between the White House and the TPM spamming.

10. Contact University For Investigation Status

Understand whether the University of Chicago is aware of the content posted on TPM which is alleged spam, and what investigation they have done to review who in Philadelphia was accessing the University of Chicago websites to then cross post on TPM.

11. Examine Travel Planning Documents Within DOJ, External Websites

Identify the hotel booking systems and other internet platform which JamesDD/GSB27 are linked through common IPs; then look for which law firms were also using those same hotel booking systems; and ask for comment from the law firms whether they can explain the travel arrangements which appear to mirror JamesDD/GSB27.

12. Review Digital Data Forensics Connected Legal Counsel

Review the legal counsel who were involved with the Public Relations Society of America, and linked with the public relations efforts which JamesDD/GSB27 appears to have conveniently distracted attention from: Explore the connection those legal counsel have with Wecht Counsel, the lead prosecutor, the law firms indirectly linked with the Wecht Counsel, and the digital data forensics communications issues indirectly linked with the White House digital data forensics retention issues.

What is the plan of the White House to disclose the communications within the Department of Justice's JCON data and the White House email system connected with the Wecht prosecution, this external law firm, and other White House counsel indirectly connected with the University of Chicago school of law?

F. Why was the White House unwilling to apply the information from the digital data forensics conference when developing an email retention plan for the White House?

G. When did the President first authorize funding for the efforts to provide information on TPM?

H. What was the President's plan when there was established an affirmative link between the TPM posters, the hotel reservation system, external content, and the Wecht prosecutor?

I. Does the Department of Justice plan to conduct a timely investigation into these allegations linking the President to the TPM blog span; or are they "too busy" making excuses to follow illegal DOJ OLC legal guidance giving a green light to war crimes, FISA violations, and other high crimes and misdemeanors?

J. Does the White House have any plan to respond to questions or subpoenas from any State Attorney General who has the authority to investigate this activity, and review the alleged link between the President, Wecht prosecutor, the external law firm, the University of Chicago, and the GSB27/JamesDD postings on TPM?

K. What was the White House plan once Wecht counsel had specific evidence establishing the above connections between their client, the prosecutor and the President?

White House Counsel is advised to seek outside legal assistance. There is no statute of limitations for prosecution any alleged witness intimidation or other efforts to dissuade evidence collection related to the laws of war.

TPM posters are well on their way to publishing the names of the legal counsel connected with the University of Chicago, the President, the Wecht Prosecutor, and the external law firm. We have no control over how war crimes prosecutors will or will not have access to this information; nor can we promise that anyone in the Department of Justice, CIA, DoD, or White House is or is not linked with these confirmed-links to the University of Chicago.

All information related to these alleged links to the White House and violations of the laws of war may be of interest to international war crimes prosecutors and Wecht counsel.

The dates White House/DOJ-connected personnel accessed the reservation information can be cross-indexed with other information linked with the University of Chicago.

What are the profiles of those who appear to be involved?

The profiles match specific legal counsel which can be traced through their email accounts to their law office numbers and other communications. The information can be cross indexed with personnel who have cross flowed between the White House, DOJ, other government agencies, and outside law firms.

How do these records help?

The personnel are also linked indirectly with email accounts on FOIA information connected with the CIA, DoD, NSA, DOJ, and the White House.  The FOIA-related information appears to have been not sufficiently classified for national security reasons, but to hide legal counsel's connection with unlawful activity.

If proven, affidavits provided to the court under penalty of perjury might have been false, and with a reckless disregard for the rights of others to get evidence of illegal activity, or evidence defendants should have access. per Brady.

What does this mean for Wecht counsel and others seeking evidence re NSA, FISA, and POW abuse?

Information connected to the US Government but not protected by privilege can be used to, inter alia:
 
(a) create a nexus establishing alleged fraud, thereby permitting an exception under "crime fraud";
(b) show the government officials were not acting in good faith, but for an improper purpose, thereby circumventing some FOIA exemptions; and
(c) defeat the President's claim of privilege on the documents currently being withheld related to FISA, NSA, Geneva, and POW abuse.
