Nothing like arguing over how to illegally use US troops stateside, but ignore how to lawfully use troops in Afghanistan to win.

The President's raid from Iraq into Syria is only the tip of the iceberg. President Bush delegated to then Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld authority to conduct raids around the globe.

However, DoD public affairs failed to discuss which authority the President did use to conduct raids in the United States or Iran:

ABC: "The officials made it clear that there had been no raids into Iran using that authority"

This leaves open the option the Defense Department using other authority also conducted raids inside the United States, and may have illegally attacked American citizens: The same players [at 2] involved with the FISA violations appear to be involved with the DoD domestic home raids.

We must examine whether the President applied these legal theories raids American citizens' homes. These authorities are not isolated to DoD, but include DHS. 

US District Judge Garr King pointed the finger at the Treasury Department: The Office of Foreign Asset Control violated the due process rights before (incorrectly) labeling an entity a terrorist organization.  DC Lawyer Lynne Bernabei's client had their right to "adequate notice" violated before it was (incorrectly) designated a terror organization.

It's possible accused-attacked-Americans were forced to agree to remain silent:

Possible illegal agreement, hidden like an NSL:

"In exchange for US government silence about allegations you might be connected with a terrorist entity, you promise not to disclose this attack on your home nor bring this suit to trial."

The attorney standards of conduct only prohibit using the threat of prosecution to gain advantage during a civil trial. Under this scenario, the US government lawyers would not face a disciplinary hearing.

We need to see the documents about this illegally classified activity. Once the United States in 2001 declared this war on terror a "global war," the US President knew American civilians were protected under Geneva:

• Geneva: How did the DoD JAGs justify silence on DoD home raids, despite a known reporting-investigation requirement in 2310.1E (see 60 of 91 NAVY 8:55 email, Sept 12, 2005 referencing 2310.1E; see DoD IG report on 5100.77 and 2310.1E)?
• MOU: Which FBI-DoD-DHS-local government agreements exist to support these illegal home raids [see: www.it.ojp.gov ];
• Legal memos: Which DOJ OLC opinions "permitted" the President to conduct illegal home raids against Americans [For details, go here];
  
• Messages: Which specific DOD message traffic exists telling DoD public affairs officers how to respond when asked about the President's (illegal) use of DoD resources to conduct home raids against American citizens;
• Plans: What documents exist within DoD detailing how the plan for these illegal home raids would be suppressed; and
  
• Briefings: Which briefing papers discussed the "disadvantage" of disclosing Constitutional violations: The DoD home raids into Americans homes.
  

In 1992 [page 3 of 3] then-Director of Central Intelligence Robert Gates, now Secretary of Defense and possibly aware of domestic DoD home raids, approved the declassification of similar information.

It remains unclear how much false, sworn information the President "relied" when conducting these illegal home raids inside America. Despite claims the President coordinated his raid with the Syrians, the prospect the President approved these raids means the President had no reason (in his own mind) to coordinate with the Syrians.

President Obama when he takes office should investigate and disclose:

How many illegal raids did DoD conduct inside the United States?

Until the public gets a straight answer, it is expected the US government will continue to make excuses to violate the Constitution despite the guise of change.

Consider this confluence, which Congerss refused to investigate with an impeachment:

Connecting the Dots on Illegal Home Raids Against Americans

1. Yoo's "warrantless DoD raids are OK"-memo, saying the United States is a battlefield;

2. FISA Court's capitulation to the illegal FISA violations;

3. President-Congressional (illegal) immunity to the telecoms for FISA violations during wartime; and

4. No straight answer on who was really placed the 9-11 explosives inside the WTC buildings.

The above is a cause for concern:

• Despite FISA requirements to the contrary, the President said he wasn't required to get approval to conduct NSA surveillance doemstically.In passing FISA immunity; and Congerss said warrants weren't required for FISA violations;
  
• Gonzalez during Senate testimony when discussing alleged illegal US government activity said, "Not this program." raising the prospect there were other programs; and
  
• Yoo's memo from DOJ OLC said DoD could conduct warrantless intrusions. DOJ OLC and the President viewed America as but another battlefield.

We need something in writing: How many American civiilians have been rendered?

On accusation alone this President and Congress have been complicit with domestic, warrantless interrogations of Americans.The Revolutionary War, in part, was sparked by the British Red Coat's assault on civilian's dignity with unreasonable searches. By definition, where there is no specific reason to intrude upon a specific person, that home raid and detention is unreasonable and illegal.

The 9-11 Commission never answered the question: Who placed the explosives inside WTC 1, 2, 7. There were fabricated documents about Iraq WMD and Iran. There's every reason to believe there are fabrications about who was really behind 9-11. The US government is using the pretext of "AlQueda might be connected"' to conduct home raids, but this does not adequately confront the real domestic "threat".

Congress is complicit with this domestic, unconstitutional conduct. Anyone has standing to challenge the potential evidence destruction. It remains unclear:

1. Which Congressional emails show when the President briefed members of Congress on these domestic raids;

2. Which secrecy agreements Members of Congress approved as a condition of access to the details;

3. How many media stories were suppressed to hide evidence about who really placed the explosives inside WTC towers;

4. What illegal propaganda has Congress refused to confront related to the President's confrontations against Americans;

5. How many DoD emails exist showing the President and Congress agreed to remain silent about the DoD home raids against Americans; and

6. How many Americans agreed to remain silent about these home raids in exchange for a US government agreement not to smear them with false accusations they were connected with terrorism?

The US government has had seven years to provide the public with a straight answer to who placed the explosives. Don't think about destroying the emails: The White House is required to preserve the emails. It's an illegal agreement for a Member of Congress to agree to remain silent.
