Scott Winship is research manager of the Economic Mobility Project of the Pew Charitable Trusts, where he has primary responsibility for developing the research agenda the Project funds. Scott hails from rural Maine, graduated from Northwestern University, and is currently finishing his doctoral dissertation for Harvard University's social policy program, on trends in economic volatility. He lives in Washington D.C. with his girlfriend, Maria Teresa, and their dog Huckleberry.
