Doug Coe's Rolodex Tossed Over Key Bridge

A motorist reported seeing a large stack of loose Rolodex cards blowing off the Key Bridge near Canal Road. It was not immediately apparent who the owner was, but Metro police fished some cards out of the water, and have tracked down a few leads. The cards are yellowed with age and look like they were typed with an Olivetti manual typewriter. An anonymous tipster said the cards belonged to Doug Coe, also known as the "stealth Billy Graham."

Molly,
I don't mean to be dense, but is this for real?

Doug Coe admires dictators and has interfered in our foreign affairs with each of those countries and those people. Luckily, almost all of them are dead.

Why would American presidents, vice presidents and cabinet members allow this joker to come along on official trips abroad?

I'm guessing guns and oil.

In several of your previous posts on this topic it is obvious that much of the power/influence of Coe and his Coe-horts comes from their ability to stay under the radar. Maybe this work that you're doing right now, digging deep and following all the little tentacles and shining a bright light on everything will be the very thing that sucks the power/influence right out of this group. Being the simplistic lefty/lib/prog that I am, I've always believed that if you can't do it in the light, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

Should I look both ways before crossing Broad Street?

user-pic

Always. Isn't that what your Mom taught you?

Unless Broad St. is one-way, of course.

I wish I wrote poetry like this.
