Taking a little break, gang; I simply can't physically deal with strong emotions like rage at this point in time. So see y'all around when things are going better for me.
Hang in there, sundog! Hope you have time for a joke...
Because there's always some jerk who says: It could be worse...
Anyway, there was a guy who ALWAYS said "It could have been worse." No matter what anyone said.
There came a time when nobody would talk to him because they always knew what he'd say.
He went to the same tavern every night after work. One night, he walked in and Joe the bartender wasn't there.
He asked, "Where's Joe?"
Nobody would answer him because they all knew what he'd say.
Finally a woman said, "There's no way this could be any worse so I'm going to tell him. Last night at seven," she began, "Joe went home from work and caught his wife with another man. So he killed her, killed the other man... Then killed himself!"
"Wow!" the guy said. "That's terrible... But it could have been worse."
The stunned woman said, "How could that possibly be any worse? He killed her, he killed the other guy and then killed himself."
"Well," the guy responded without blinking. "He could have come home at six when I was there!"
Remember, Sundog... Everything is relative. It could ALWAYS be worse. I hope your problems ease. Hang in there.
Best wishes to you and your family, from the heart, and I hope you return soon. Thank you for the time and intelligence and good will you've put into your posts here. Especially thank you for your blog-poem of Oct 28, 2005,"The Night Before Fitzmas," which cheered me when I was badly in need of cheering.
I read and post only sporatically, and just became aware of the SeedFreak situation - sorry more of us didn't pitch in at the time.
Hang in there, SD.
