This daily post is a clearinghouse for links to posts that either flew
by too fast, didn't get the attention they deserved, or are so good
they need to be up even longer...
ANYONE can link a post here. If you do, please describe it briefly and tell us why it deserves another look.
The quality of posting around here seems to be getting very good, and some of the better ones are coming from new faces! This is a good place to highlight them, but they are moving fast again and the archives are still messed up, so get them linked here!

It got rec'd a good amount overnight, so I think enough people will find this worth reading...even though it's my own post :-) It's my serious/humorous take on the black vote, why blacks are voting for Obama, and how desperate the right wing is looking for an excuse to downplay Obama's historic campaign...even if it means calling blacks racists even though they're not exactly Gandhi themselves.

Well we will have archives again soon. There is not way to go and look for posts of the day right now or I am sure you would get more recs... During heavy posting times posts move out of sight quickly.

Still, I think one of my students may have written a piece yesterday - -the title of which I missed -- as "College Applicant." He was really upbeat this morning and asked if I had read it, but I didn't make the connection right away; my assumption was that he was just relating to a post by someone his age. He's an enthusiastic Obama man, maybe an Obama of the future. May we give him another shot? ( I would give you the link, but I don't know where to find it.) Thanks.
