My Inauguration Experience
I was lucky to be able to attend the Inauguration and it was a great day. Even though it was over a month ago, the glow persists. I finally finished editing a video from the footage I filmed that day and posted it on youtube. It is just under ten minutes long and contains nothing new or shocking...

I'm curious. As a "moderate anarchist", how would you assess our "moderate police state" with its checkpoints and sharpshooters and steel fences and militarized cops?
One reason I avoided the inauguration is that I remember when this used to be a freer country than it is now. On the other hand, not being a doctrinaire anarchist, I do vote, and in 2008 for the first time in my life I voted for a winning presidential candidate.
If only the 2 million who showed up for the inauguration would show up for universal single-payer health care . . . and bring friends. Or for an end to military adventurism; or for action on global warming.
If such manifestation of popular will were focused instead of dissipated, we would not have a mellow inauguration type of scene, we'd have Tien an Men square type of massacres here in America.
