Assigning indignation about this healthcare bill (s) to only the "fringe Left" disgusts me. There are people this country who are in trouble, barely making it in this healthcare system. People face life- and- death choices. To reduce desperate anger to some intellectual exercise rather than human needs is immoral in my view. "Let them eat cake" is the message. And plenty ate cake last night at the White House. Be happy with crumbs.

These "rational" politicians, of course, have health insurance. The anger at them is actually more intense than anger at the drug companies. Plenty of these rational politicians will lose their seats over this. If only from people staying home. You can't win without your base. It's not going to take much to lose an election next year.
