Summer Reading List

Now that summer is almost upon us, I am putting together my must-read list of books that are collecting dust on my bookshelf. Here is what I have so far:

Angels and Demons, Dan Brown

The Audacity of Hope, Barack Obama

American Lion, Jon Meacham

Heads in the Sand, Matthew Yglesias

The Great Derangement, Matt Taibbi

Nixonland, Rick Perlstein

So, is there anything I am missing here that I should add to my list? Is there one title that I should get to before the others? What's on your list?

I just read *The Blind Side* by Michael Lewis, who also wrote Moneyball. It was a fast read with a sports hook, and only touched on some very weighty subjects.

I am just now reading *Lies My Teacher Told Me* by James W Loewen and *Lay of the Land* by Richard Ford.

It's been out for some time, but I just got to it and enjoyed it immensely. A Short History of Nearly Everything. Bill Bryson.
