		        <![CDATA[<p>My polling place in south St. Louis, MO opened at 6 a.m. Went by at 7:30 - still longish lines. Went back half an hour later and they'd gotten a lot shorter as people went to work. I only had to wait a few minutes. Most voters were using paper ballots instead of the 8 or so touchscreens. A black man in his 40s was sitting next to my wife as they filled out their ballots, and he couldn't stop talking about how it was his first time voting.</p>]]>
