Obama pulling another Bush? Bad news of promise-breaking at black hole news times?
Yes, let's write another broken Obama promise up on the chalkboard. This time, just a few months after saying he wanted more pressure from the left, he says, on behalf of Democratic moderates in the Senate, he didn't really mean that on national healthcare, telling advocacy groups they need to shut down their ads against Nelson, Feinstein, Landrieu, etc.
BUT... that's not all. He's also threatening to throw around some muscle.
And, it is rather convenient to do this at the Fourth, a la BushCo news dumps. Plus, if you follow my link, you'll also see who was chosen... and I use that word deliberately... to write this up.

Could Cici be overstating the pressure that Obama is putting on the groups? I sure hope so - and it wouldn't really surprise me.
My response to this was pretty simple: hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! The pressure must be working. Time to redouble efforts.

Agreed. We will stand behind a bill that is good. Until that happens we should do our best to shape what bill is to come. So in this case, I don't care what Obama says.
I wouldn't call this an Obama "promise break", though. On one hand, it's comments that counter some comments he's made. In fact, it's something he probably should state once there's a good bill on the table. But, IMO, there isn't. His statement's just a bit premature.

I still can't figure out why so many people voted for this politician expecting him to be anything other than a politican.

HE'S NOT BUSH-HE'S NOT BUSH-HE'S NOT BUSH; hope you have a better understanding now.

No, not at all - he only continues Bush's policies and attempts exactly the same power grab "liberals" spent so much ink fighting:

Then you are just stupid. You ask why. I told you why.

Looks to me that Obama (as usual) is trying to play both sides of an issue without really committing one way or another. The ads clearly are working and should not be stopped unless and until all the Democrats, including the wicked with of the west Ms. Feinstein, get in line and start acting like Democrats. If this makes Obama, who is refusing to lead on almost every major issue except war and secrecy where he leads in the wrong direction, doesn't like the ads well... too God Damned bad. He too needs to start acting more like a Democrat and less like an out of touch aristocrat who thinks all we need is to tweak a couple of things around the edges and the rabble will be satisfied. Well, to paraphrase MLK, I suggest all progressive/liberal Democrats adopt a posture that we will not be satisfied until justice rolls like water and righteousness like a mighty stream!

This post leaves me bewildered... there is nothing here to justify the headline and there is quite little here to justify the post. Save your energy for when you have something of substance; otherwise you just appease the whiners and moaners.
I've read some of your prior posts "Carlin" and "Fort Worth police", these were quite useful. This post is well below those standards.
