I had been anticipating the results of the UN inspection, and when I read the article I thought jeez, this is news. But no, it was not news. 

Many of us have held the fear that maybe "the big one" was going to drop. Every time the news cycle gets bored, they are back to "Iran is building a bomb",  boogah, boogah! If the US won't drop the big one by God Israel will go it alone! Cheney and the gang played this card to escalate the perpetual war machine till the bitter end.

Now it seems that maybe Iran isn't very close to weapons grade enrichment, and the "secret plant" isn't even close to the boogie man it has been billed. For one, I am relieved. You would think it would have gotten some attention. Alas, it is not much for news folks. Not enough boogah, boogah.

Google search results with the Reuters title left our main stream media oddly quiet, but as I suspected, Juan Cole does consider noteworthy. http://www.juancole.com/  (Nov 7 post).

What we're really talking about here is equal rights for all people. That includes the legal privileges afforded to people who are joined in a legal union. If I were gay, fighting for equal rights, I wouldn't even want it called a marriage. Shit, I'm hetero and I don't even like the word marriage.

Fight for equal privileges and give them their sacred name. Let them vow to their fair God and define marriage as between a hole and a pole. Make up a name. I'm kinda fond of Oonga Friggin Boonga' myself, in their right wing self righteous God Squad face.

Some people openly admit they want Obama to fail. In my mind I suppose many of them do, but might think it too hideous a concept to brag about.

Will they admit they were hoping for the worst in this latest pirate hostage situation? After all, what could possibly be better than for Obama to fail at this international challenge and hoping for the worst ending imaginable.

So what do you suppose that would mean? The worst would be what? The pirates kill the Skipper and make a clean getaway with millions in ransom loot.

Not so unimaginable to me anymore.

So now we got a guy, a young man, who is reportedly convinced that Big O is coming to get his guns. Now where in hell would he get that idea? What convinced him to so entirely, that he would go to the extreme of gunning down some cops?

Why didn't he follow Bill O'Reilly's advice and take it out on those liberal homosexuals in San Fransisco? That's ok, we have plenty of matches left for the Santa Anna winds to run 'em off into the Pacific.

Maybe he was taking G. Gordon Liddy's advice and "going for the head shot"?

Could have been Michael Savage convincing him that putting a little whoop ass mojo on those animal gun control liberals is the way to go. (Still doesn't answer the 'cop' thing unless the shooter thinks all cops are liberal communist homo's who deserve to die).

Bachmann? Sean Hannity? NRA?? Glenn Beck? Coulter? Rushbo? Malkin? All of the above in harmony??? Me thinks, yes.

There is no shortage of hate spewing from this gang of self righteous bigots. And it's nothing short of incitement. Sore losers, desperate to stir shit up and pray to God Obama fails, and the country fails, so they can continue their greedy selfish mission.

The use of the gun control boogie man has become the GOP wild card. They use it whenever they think they need to push the fringe element to the edge. And they don't want to lose that card. Think about it.

When has any restrictive firearm legislation ever been reversed?  Never.  And that includes when the GOP was in complete control. What did they reverse when W was in office and they had Congressional majority? Did they even introduce any legilation to get say... large capacity magazines back? No.  How come?

The far right haters only use this as their ace in the hole. Now I suppose we'll hear Hannity say tomorrow..... "See? Your gun control laws pushed this guy over the edge and he went berserk and kilt some cops". Somehow this will be twisted into a maze of wild card bullshit.

Am I nuts? Are we nuts?

Or have they just been that good at hiding the fraud? Better yet, is William Black just another windbag?

Bill's Journal interview with Black yesterday is staggering. In the end, I will trust Bill (and in this case another Bill) will tudor me to a better understanding, at least.

Maybe it isn't all that complicated for us after all, and maybe Bernie Madoff is just a slumdog billionaire behind bars for being a little too careless or stupid, or both. Maybe he just pissed the wrong Hombre's off. And here we are convinced ol' Bern had graduated the slums in the 60's and will go down in history as Mr. Ponzi squared.  Sheesh.
