When Newt "The LizardBoy" Gingrich passes for what is now considered "moderate-to-wishywashy" on the GOP side these days, what hope does a reasonable, caring woman like Scozzafava have in that party?</p>

<p>Hoffman will probably win, but there be a truly awful price for the GOP to pay.</p>]]>
