Like Little Annie Fanny in the vintage Playboy cartoon, Stephanie (the heroine of Finger Lickin' Fifteen) tends to shed articles of clothing as she becomes splattered with paint or doused with barbecue sauce during the course of her duties.

Nice curating, Rootie. I love the repeating triangle shapes.
You could add an image for job losses, too (better than the one I found, I'm sure).
Happy 4th. ;-)

I think don McLean beat you to the punch on this theme, but I like this too. Let us raise a glass and fondly remember the republic that once was!

I saw that neon book cover through the window of Aardvark Bookstore as I was walked down Church street. Aardvark's is one of few remaining independent bookstores in the city. It is fun to go through their inventory to find a good book to read.

The main landmarks on my brain-map of the United States are bookstores like the Aardvark in SF and Schoenhof's in Cambridge, and especially the great used bookstores like Myopic and Powell's and Bookman's Corner in Chicago and the Book Exchange near Duke and Micawber's in Princeton.
Without Myopic Books in Wicker Park and the Book House in Dinkytown, I would still be as ignorant as a worm.
