A Festivus of Wankery
I wish newspapers did more of this kind of thing. FP listed its top ten bad predictions and wow, what a celebration. All my favorites are there: Paulson, Krauthammer, Kristol, Luskin.
Fantasy column: Glenn Greenwald listing the top ten things that Bill Kristol got wrong in the last year, posted on the op/ed page of the NYT. Sigh... we can all dream.
Sign me up for the feats of strength.

"the top ten things that Bill Kristol got wrong in the last year"... Man, that would take some effort to edit the list down to just 10.

True that.
David Broder's column about Bush being poised for a political comeback would have made my list.

Good catch. Jena has his own psychic predictions for the new year on 236. I am sucker for lists.
On a different note, Rumpole of the Bailey was one of the best series ever put on television. If I had any money I would look for some old VHS Tapes.

I'm with Walter Wagner on #7. He's far from a Chicken Little, and I doubt the author(s) of piece would know the difference between a Higgs Boson and a hole in the ground. And Arjun Murti would have been correct if the economy hadn't totally gone to shit. But I agree with you and miguelitoh2o: I'd love to see a Top Ten of Kristol flubs. He's the clueless buffoon of all time (with Charles Krauthanger as a close second).

PS: The authors write: "So, we’ll have to wait for 2009 to see if he is proved right."
Actually 2109 or thereabouts.
