Resistance is Not Futile
I recently learned that some folks at TPM may not be familiar with "Cows With Guns," a song written by Dana Lyons. You can visit Cow Central Command and look around and even get the lyrics and tablature. However, I recommend watching this first.

excellent I've had the good fortune to have had a mystical communion with a herd of mistreated cows back in the early seventies having left a lemming event in DC.
I experienced "Cow Victory"
Thanks Rowan

Awesome. As a former shepherd, all I can say is I WISH they'd get motivated. (Sheesh.) And where's Bwak? Chickens in choppers?

Glad you liked it quinn.
I believe that bwak, along with a number of others, are east coasters and likely in bed as it's a school night.
Chicken in choppers indeed! Clipped wings will not keep a determined chicken down.

Cool site. Tempted to get me one of those 'raging red rodents' t-shirts. The Goodall connection was interesting for me too, as my girlfriend is visiting her in Tanzania, as we speak.

Wow! That's cool.
I thought you might like this as you stand in solidarity with your cow boots. And I think the raging red rodent shirt would be a nice addition to your usual attire.

Rowan, I've seen cows all day every day for the past 22 years. I've always felt at ease with them, even developed a rapport with with a few when I worked as a milk maid on me auntie's dairy farm one summer.
Now I am a bit fearful of my bovine friends, especially since they have chickens in choppers for back up.
Does this mean the farm animals have beaten us to the revolution?

Dearest flower, I do believe they embrace you as an ally in the resistance. I believe that Bwak could vouch for that.
However, sadly they may have beaten us to the revolution. It is not too surprising as they - personally - have much more on the line than we do (generally speaking).

Meh....let 'em eat steak!

Vegetarian steak I hope. Outraged revolutionary bovines and chickens could be joined by swine who are now running their own bio-weapons labs.

Cow Tse Tung?
Is this what manatees do in the middle of the night when you could be having pie and listening to Sweet Judie Blue Eyes?

DD, as you well know, the dedicated activist can never sleep. We nap, but not sleep. Viva la revolution!

You may not be aware, dd, coming from the Minnesotas like you do, that manatees are also known as sea cows.
So there is a connection here.
Somewhere.
Also.

My thanks for the assist seashell! We are part of the marine forces in the revolutions. However, most folks haven't a clue (luckily).

In this, as in many other things we can point to, humans seem not particularly bright, but some are trainable. (Snort bubbles)

My son's first word was "cow" - well "ka" but we were driving by cows at the time... and for many years we lived across from a cow pasture. And he toured a dairy barn when he was just a few months old. It all adds up....

I confess. I laughed so hard, I went for a replay.
I'm so proud of bwak I could just ... bark. Let's join the revolution.
I hope Stilli sees this. She's all about cows rights and stuff.
Also. I just saw the part about the dog in your Cicero comment. I was correct! Thank you for the valuable information. :-)

Cows don't need no stinkin guns. They got methane. 1.5 billion cows in the world. There must be extremists among them. What do we do about cow bioterrorists?

Well tpmgary it depends on if yer fer em or agin em. If yer fer em - keep it under yer hat. If yer agin em then 2 choices:
1) be nice to em
2) quit breeding em.
