As much as I despise Leiberman, Senator Reid is once again showing his lack of political acumen. There remains a possibility of getting a filibuster-proof majority. If the recount in Minnesota comes our way, that's 1 more. If Saxby Chambliss losses his runoff (and he probably will) that's 2. And, if Ted Stevens the felon gets kicked out, as he should, a new election in Alaska may very well produce the third giving us a 60 vote majority. Unless Harry Reid pisses off Joe Leiberman enough to send him packing. That would be a shame to have 59 votes when we could have had 60.
