Caroline Kennedy has NOT withdrawn
Caroline Kennedy just issued a statement that she has NOT withdrawn from consideration as Senator from New York and that any report contrary results from a "miscommunication" with Paterson's office.

Not that I am the guy who lays proper foundations for my posts, but lately I am running into blogs like this without any cites, sites or links.
Nothing but gossip on MSNBC although Gregory reported that he was in touch with Kennedy's spokesperson and she aint given up. I want some cites.
Even Rumpole reached to our own Muckraker to make a comment.

You know TheraP you are a professional with many professions. If you can find this in 90 seconds, I think the more normal bloggers like me could find something in less than 30 minutes. I was just pointing out that there are good bloggers here with great posts demonstrating research. Now if somebody shoots w or something, I could see a 'quicky' followed by a more in depth analysis.
Thanks.

Is this like the letter from the mayor of Paris that wasn't really from the mayor? though published in the NY Times?

There is only one AA in the Senate.

And yet the entitlement continues even in the exit.
"Ms. Kennedy believed that the job was hers if she would accept it, the person said, but aides to Mr. Paterson would not comment on whether that was true."

As a New Yorker, I'm disappointed. Particularly when there is no one who would obviously be better (more competent, more ethical, more well-connected, more serious about actually governing). Andrew Cuomo is a bad headache and the female Congresswoman who is most often mentioned is - trust me - nothing special (and ironically got to her position of prominence by way of nepotism ....). But I certainly don't blame anyone for choosing to step out of the meatgrinder of public attention.
Actually, it continues to be a marvel that anyone in their right mind is willing to go into public service at high levels.
