ABC Anchor to Biden: Deny Obama's a Marxist!!! Wait--This Was NOT Fox News?
Just watched the vid on TPM's main page where (see title) some airhead
hack asks Senator Biden one 'Are you still beating your wife?' question
after another. My first though was 'yeah, yeah.' Until I noticed
something which gave me pause: this is an ABC News affiliate, not Fox,
as I thought was a safe assumption. Believe me, I do NOT think ABC News
(national or local) purveys anything close to first rate journalism,
but Fox news they ain't. (Or, at least, weren't.) I'd be interested to
hear what other readers have to say about the quality of their local
news: i.e., is it this blatantly biased? Here in the conservative
stronghold that is Seattle*, the few times a year I watch local TV
news, my primary complaint would be about the vacuity, not bias, of how
they report. But perhaps it is different in much of the other 50.

Plain and simple, the anchor was auditioning for a step up to national news. She's going on O'Reilly as the latest victim of the far left. That would be her next step in screen testing.

Actually, it turns out that she's married to a Republican strategist who probably encouraged her to make a name for herself by asking inflammatory questions.

At an earlier interview, this same woman had asked Biden if it was true that after the vice presidential debate, he was going to claim health problems to make way for HRC to take over as the VP nominee. He was gracious enough to laugh at that one. The series of questions this time were even more offensive (my view) and they 'embargo' was put into place because she was scheduled to interview Jill Biden today. I don't blame him, and the campaign, AT ALL for refusing to subject Mrs. Biden to what that might have been!

I've seen the full interview, and the Lady makes an even bigger ass of herself than the mercifully clipped segment here on TPM demonstrates. Lord, if I was writing for SNL, I couldn't have done any better.
With the wingnut right, we keep having to bump things up (down?) 'satire-wise.'

In the interview, Biden screwed up by denying that Obama would "spread the wealth around"."
We all know that Obama said the following in a recent Ohio event: "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Sadly, most Americans have been conditioned to believe that socialist policy is completely acceptable in today's skewed political landscape. In fact, we now have talking heads in the mainstream media talking about how much socialist policy is appropriate. Obama is openly espousing proletarian Marxist philosophy while McCain supports elitist Marxism. Biden and most Obama adherents refuse to discuss the fact that redistribution of the wealth is socialist policy. There is only on thing worse than those who will not admit the truth, it's those who don't know the difference. It's refreshing although somewhat awkward to have someone in the mainstream ask the "forbidden" questions.
