I wrote to both John and Elizabeth Edwards today. It's easy to do via the contact form on the Edwards campaign website--http://www.johnedwards.com/about/contact/form/
Perhaps you'd like to write to them again too. Here's what I wrote . . .
Please, Ms. Edwards, my family and I ask you to look beyond your principled difference with Sen. Obama regarding his healthcare plan and recognize that we have a good and decent and strong candidate for president in the senator from Illinois.
I used to have much respect for the Clintons. I defended her to fellow Obama supporters in 2007 and into the early months of 2008. But I can't defend and I don't see how you can defend her behavior since February.
Senator Clinton, convinced that only she can win against McCain and that only she deserves to be president, has been willing to do and say anything in the service of her goal. Lying about her past, talking very unpresidentially about "obliterating" Iran with nuclear weapons, allowing the 'secret Muslim' character assasination of her opponent to fester, alienating African Americans, Move-On members, now gays and lesbians with her skittishness about mentioning their existence in her stump speeches . . . how can Democrats be proud of this? How does this make her more electable?
Please, Ms. Edwards, get behind Senator Obama and help put the Democratic Party on the path to success in November. America needs you!

Please, Senator Edwards, help stop the shenanigans that the Clintons are pulling. I used to have respect for both Bill and Hillary--now, the lies, the willingness to tear down, even seek to destroy another Democrat in their quest for power--I am disgusted and I want my party and my party's leaders to put a stop to it.
Please, put your pride aside and get behind Senator Obama now. We need you. This country needs you to act.
