Reports of GOP Donors wanting Refunds due to Palin's 150K clothing allowance.
As reported on Politico:
"As a Republican Eagle and a maxed-out contributor to McCain's general campaign, I'd like my money back - he can still have my vote," complained one irate donor on Tuesday.
"I'm not one who says a candidate shouldn't wear fine clothes," he added. "I'd just like to think they were successful enough in the private sector to have afforded their wardrobe with their own money, not the party's or the campaign's, which is really our money as contributors."

Really not the way the campaign wanted to spend its final 13 days - issuing refund checks and explaining how the 150K spent on personal clothes was technically legal because they only used commingled funds from the joint accounts held between the McCain campaign and the RNC. It's an argument I would love them to make!

Sweet.
Kind of goes with collecting a per diem as governor for 300 nights she stayed in her own house.

Hey, if it were up to me, I'd send Palin shopping with Cindy McCain.
Every dollar thety spend on clothes is a dollar they don't spend on Robocalls or attack ads.
Chaaarrrge(-It)!

I find it interesting that the campaign tries to play her off as as "every woman" then dresses her to the nines, spending more in 2 months than most "any" women even MAKE in 2 years!
Contrast that W/ Michelle's inexpensive dress from Black and White (that she wore on the View) and Barack's worn soles...
Uh, who is elite?
Who cares if it is LEGAL? They should be ashamed of themselves. I have to say, I'd be a little pissy if the Obama campaign was spending my hard earned money buying Joe Biden new suits...
If John and Cindy thought their little pet was looking a little shabby for their fancy taste, they've got plenty of money...why didn't they pay for the fancy duds themselves? Good grief...is this the decision making ability we are looking for in the White House?

The Republican Party is the party of entitlement. The entitled are surprised about that?
I think it's great that all this news of entitled v. entitled is coming out. McPalin need to be as distracted as much and often as possible by the Republican whinings against their arrogance, corruption, and "Fuck everyone but me!" greed.

This is indescribably delicious. It can only help the country when Republicans keep their outlandih party on a short leash.

Spending their scant campaign funds on a Saks/Neiman wardrobe doesn't show a lot of financial responsibility but hey it could be worse... they could be paying for Cindy's wardrobe and that $150k would only pay for half of one outfit! These people really are out of touch.
If you have early voting or vote by mail in your state VOTE TODAY. If not...get to the polls early on the 4th and stand in line however long it takes. Work the polls, volunteer for election protection, video the vote, GOTV.. make sure "We, the People" decide this one.

This campaign is so out of focus and so unable to walk straight, it's like a drunk pulled over on the highway, who can't walk "the line." They can't keep their stories straight. One tactic destroys another. It's getting to be more like a comedy than a campaign!

Tragicomedy. I can't wait until it goes away, even if it has to crawl on its knees to do that successfully.
