Bachmann: "I never questioned Barack Obama's patriotism"
Today, Bachmann states:
Despite the way the blogs and the Democratic Party are spinning it, I never called all liberals anti-American, I never questioned Barack Obama's patriotism, and I never asked for some House Un-American Activities Committee witch hunt into my colleagues in Congress. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/14777.html
Yet, on Friday, we all heard Bachmann reply to Chris Matthews:
Matthews: "Do you think Barack Obama has anti-American views?"
Bachmann: "Absolutely, I'm very concerned he might have anti-American views."

Amazing!

You see? This is the problem with liberals. Always dwelling on the past.
Bachmann's comments to Chris Matthews are SO last Friday....

I don't think 'that one' has any concept of what truth is.
Barack is right, they really do think we're all stupid.

Her opponent, Elwyn Tinklenberg, has raised $700,000 since she made those comments. I gave $50 myself. I hope he unseats that asshat.

Bachmann is just auditioning for her Party. Has to show that she can keep up with Palin.
"Look at me, look at me. I'm relevant. I can carry a repugnant message and maintain a lovely smile. I have a future in this Party!"

I thought her smile was kind of creepy, like a meth head coming down from a 4 day binge and wondering where here next score was coming from.

Buh buh buh ... she didn't question his patriotism. She said he's un-American. Like, there's a difference, y'all. Us people in Real America understand that. It's you big city liberals who always try to twist everyone's words.

Bachmann has had the good fortune to run in a district that is relatively safe for a Republican. That mostly is due to the large number of "right-to-life" voters in the district. I doubt you would find greater numbers of "right-to-life" billboards in the reddest districts of the red states. Bachmann is the darling of those single issue voters.
Tinklenberg probably has at most a slim chance of unseating Bachmann even after her rant on Hardball.
That is too bad for Minnesota and the rest of the country

No, she didn't ask for a HUAC investigation; she asked the MEDIA to do it. Oh, well, that's alright, then.

What's up with these people lying through their teeth. I saw her accuse Obama of being anti-American. I saw her suggest that the media investigate the Congress to expose other anti-Americans.
We saw the Alaska Legislature's report that Palin had violated ethics. A day later she said that she was pleased that she'd been found not to have violated ethics.
These people seem to be happiest while they're trying to turn reality on its head at least six times per day.
