For years Arizona has asked for Federal assistance and our pleas have been ignored.Then to make matters worse the new cause célèbre; some misguided Americans must punish Arizona with a boycott, because how dare they ask for papers.

Some of our Nations citizens are more concerned about the civil rights of terrorists, than they are about protecting the life of American citizens.

Our Governor is right, how do you identify who is a terrorist, once they have gotten past our Security, people who have purposely avoided detection.

"Arizona's border was judged to be open not only to drug smugglers but also aliens with "extensive criminal records" and from "special interest countries," which are defined as "countries that could export individuals who could bring harm to the United States through terrorism."

The NDIC described the Arizona-Mexico border as "largely under protected" in the areas between official ports of entry.

By the end of January 2009, 108 miles of the 262-mile shared border between Arizona and Mexico will have some type of fencing."

If the controversial Arizona law were overturned, it would be illegal for a Border patrol agent, or law officer, to ask anyone for documents, who got past the border undetected.

I am writing this letter as an expression of my deep felt regret that I have engaged in a most despicable fashion.

I have gotten in the mud with those determined to undermine the civility of TPM

Many other writers have noted that TPM is not like it's former self.

What it has become is a lurking place for vipers.

A person lays out there inner thoughts in attempt to grow in maturity. Having a forum in which a deliberative process, to encourage open debate, so as to gain insight.

So as to come up with the talking points, to be presented to those who might peer into our conversations, in order to gain a fresh perspective or to see what issues or questions bother the citizens.

But instead they see some members attack others of the community with "blow it out your ###, you jerk." Or "I despise you"

But instead of a community of deliberation and sounding off ideas with each other, they're some determined to tear down the individuals; it has become a blood sport for some. Venomous.

It's not, I can't take it anymore the bullies win, the extortionist and they're blackmail are too much.

For rest assured I am not weak, for in fact trials are what build endurance. 

I'll still be posting my Scriptures, despite personal attacks on me personally.

A man guiltless was accused of blasphemy against God himself.

Tortured because of lies and accusations.

So why would I expect it to be any different for me.

Except; because of my imperfection I have regretfully been caught up in the spirit of returning evil for evil.

Those determined to slap me, to inflict me with harm and hurtful words, have gotten me to compromise my integrity, I have returned the revilement.

I have engaged in the very thing I hate, about what some have done to my favorite site TPM

My hope is we can return to an honest dialogue in our ideas, and not attack the individual.

Does he really believe that injecting preferred stock into banks is socialism but buying assets at above market price isn't? Does he really believe that?

There actually is a stock of knowledge about this. The scandal is that when Congress has been considering this, not one independent economist has been allowed to testify. Do you know why they weren't? Paulson and Bernanke didn't want anyone causing problems.

DJ: Wait, that sounds like a conspiracy.
CC: Democrats didn't want anyone [economists] testifying because it was before an election and no one was willing to stand before that bulldozer known as Paulson. No one wanted to make tough political decision before the election. They didn't empower any experts to come in and testify. Why is that? They were playing politics, too. That's what we're dealing with-a complete leadership failure in Congress and the administration.

Don't underestimate the role of politics in the decision not to fix things.

I am reminded too, by the part when both FBI agents  (Johnson's) are in the helicopter talking about the casualties of the upcoming assault. Agreeing that the collateral damage is acceptable.

There is a choice. Do we want to continue Bushes type of wealth creation, hoping it will trickle down?

Just like Nixon, harassing citizen groups, by infiltrating them, and then creating or manufacturing causes, so they could bring action against the groups, shutting down dissent.

The machinations of John McCain are like his Republican Party, MORE OF THE SAME.
