Ibn al-Shaykh al-Libi, whose false tortured confession was used as basis for Bush's war, has reportedly committed suicide...
British journalist and historian Andy Worthington, an expert and author on Guantanamo, concludes: "The most important question that needs asking just now, of course, is whether it was possible for al-Libi to commit suicide in a Libyan jail, or whether he was murdered. I doubt that we will ever find out the truth...Whatever al-Libi’s actual crimes, his use as a tool in a program of 'extraordinary rendition' and torture, exploited shamelessly not to foil future terrorist plots but to yield false information about al-Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, remains a low point in a 'War on Terror' that has few redeeming features."

Too convenient isn’t it. For those who could torture, could surely murder or have murdered. Dead witness’ are great for the defense team.

Aunt Sam wrote "would only serve to incite greater violence and do more harm than good."

I think there should be an incitement for the good conduct, over the bad. WE THE PEOPLE will not accept Domestic enemies. Including those who deem our Constitution and it's people as irrelevant.

I have not forgotten, how King George (BUSH) defied the people. How he denied us of our rights. He usurped our way of governance. Is it now that he has found some who are weak, forgive and forget.

NEVER FORGET. We need to strengthen our resolve to defend our Constitutional Instrument, our lawful Contract with those who govern.
It is Bush and those he allowed, who must answer for the shame it has brought.

Instead, if I should have proof of his misconduct, he accuses me of shameful conduct if I should expose him? How twisted is that.
If our soldiers are looked down upon who’s to blame. Who abused their authority, which brought ostracism upon them?

In my opinion, it’s all about motivation.
The Bush Administration used FEAR as a tool to motivate a Nation to go to war.
It used it to shut up the critics.
Critics found it difficult to resist the fervor of Nationalism.

Now when the shoe is on the other foot, the BUSH defenders, of Bushes FEAR techniques are still promoting a policy of FEAR.
Fear of what will happen if we release the photos.

MORAL INDIGNATION, A MOTIVATING FACTOR

At what point do the American people get motivated, not for war, but against those who perpetrate vile things? Can the American people, who were critics of the war, get sufficient motivation, absent the photos, to STIR an entire Nation to action? Will the American people be sufficiently motivated, absent the photos, to bring to justice those who abused their authority?

Can those who fight against a wave of blind Nationalism, ever get equal footing in order to resist the power of Nationalism?

It is becoming more evident, that the power in Washington, is not concerned about how its citizens can be motivated by moral indignation. As much as it endeavors to keep it’s power to motivate THROUGH FEAR for WAR.

If sufficient pressure can be brought to bear on the Unlawful Conduct of Torture, without the pictures, I’d prefer that. If not, what tools can be used by the critics of war and its costs, and not just financial, Considering now that are elected officials are bent on sweeping this sordid affair under the rug.

Why should it be that TRUE defenders of America’s virtuous character be silenced; as the hypocrites drag us through the dirt and mud with all sorts of vile misconduct?

To have those in power, defend the violators and not defend America, AGAINST ALL ENEMIES, foreign and DOMESTIC. Bring to justice an enemy who, has pimped her (America), for personal gain.

MANKINDS VALUES ARE THE PROBLEM
Mankind is not in harmony with the Earths abilities. Poisoned air = destruction of the biosphere = less food production.
Polluted waters = Destruction of plankton = destruction of food chain groups
Polluted land, instead of using manure and crop rotation to keep soil fertile, farmers use chemical fertilizers. Crops are big, but the soil is steadily being robbed of its natural fertility.

We’ve overloaded the earth’s capacity,
Pollution is endangering life on this earth

We have a choice.
First we need to recognize the cause of our depletion of resources?
Why did it happen?

Over two hundred years ago, four out of five men were farmers. Farming families grew their own food,
Industrial Revolution = pollution
The World Book Encyclopedia (1970 edition, Vol. 10, page 185) says: “The force that brought science and money together was probably the growing demand for the conveniences of life.”
Industries spread, and farmers became factory workers. Factories tended to group together in cities where fuel and labor were cheap. Pollution is now visible.

Growth was hailed as “progress.” Was it a price to high? Affecting the quality of human life.
Strip-mining, leveled hills leaving behind devastated square miles. Oil wells needed for increased demand for energy, adding to the pollution.

Scientific technology
Agriculture; Mechanized, chemical fertilizers and pesticides added POLLUTION

WAR, with radioactive pollutants, also Defoliants devastating vast forest areas in Southeast Asia.
The “population explosion” with the Industrial Revolution striving for greater production, with more gigantic operations created more demand for power, —in industries, homes and transportation. Cities took over more and more of the surrounding farmland. Food had to be trucked in from greater and greater distances.
As cities deteriorated, Suburbs developed, Increased use of private motorcars. Highways developed, destruction of green countryside. Airports added to the problem, needing extensive sections of land, as well as adding to large-scale polluting of the air.

Large-scale industry needed consumers. Advertising, encouraged buying not to supply what people needed as much as what they could be made to want. Planned obsolescence created, cheapness rather than quality and durability. Producing a “throw-away” society. Piles of trash and Garbage

The concentration of industry and the methods of industry have brought the on the problem. But it’s the people and their wants that have contributed to the problem
The problem is not with overpopulation. It is a MENTAL PROBLEM; our way of life is not simple. Our values are set wrong
Big, more, speed, profits, those are the values people seek, adjectives to express success?
Sunlight, fresh air, pure water, grass, trees, wildlife have to be sacrificed.
Progress must go on! Is the attitude of those shortsighted or selfish?
Man must work in harmony; with the Earth and its natural laws those laws will not change. Man has to. There is no other choice. No matter how many reside on the planet.
Mankind’s values are the problem, not overpopulation

Mageduly, Your so-called expert you are trying to promote is a deceiver and full of deception. ((Colossians 2:4 -8) . . .This I am saying that no man may delude YOU with persuasive arguments...Look out: perhaps there may be someone who will carry YOU off as his prey through the philosophy and empty deception. . .

On page 11 line 12 your so called expert makes a reference about Isaac Newton, and then poses a false statement
“ and yet no one is tempted to ascribe to divine agency”

Sir Isaac Newton himself gave the credit to the Divine one. In the literature The Correspondence of Isaac Newton, edited by H. W. Turnbull, F.R.S., Cambridge 1961, Vol. 1, p. XVII.
Newton appreciated that God is the Source of all truth; An analysis of all that Newton wrote reveals that out of some 3,600,000 words only 1,000,000 were devoted to the sciences, whereas some 1,400,000 were on religious topics
Another example of how your so called expert misleads his listeners

on page13 line 15 so “I submit to you there is not a person on earth to have a good reason to believe in the bible and the Koran are the product of an omniscient intelligence”
Does this guy just make this stuff up and the sucker’s belief him? Instead of Paul, Luke or a man named Jesus?

I just gave an example of One Sir Isaac Newton who stated “I find more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history whatsoever.” (Two Apologies, by R. Watson, London, 1820, p. 57)
Its integrity to truth proves sound on any point that might be tested. Its history is accurate and can be relied upon.
Over two thousand years before the time of Columbus, the Bible clearly stated that the earth is round.—Isaiah 40:22.

Sir Isaac Newton, said: “No sciences are better attested to than the Bible.” Patrick Henry, the American revolutionary leader: “The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed.” Mohandas K. Gandhi “When your country and mine shall get together on the teachings laid down by Christ in this Sermon on the Mount, we shall have solved the problems, not only of our countries but those of the whole world.”

Page 15 line 6 this is why we have such phrases as wishful thinking, self delusion and self deception

He's right about that! Physician heal thyself first

Writing in The Union Bible Companion, S. Austin Allibone quotes Dr. Johnson who says that we
“we have more evidence that Jesus Christ died on Calvary, as stated in the Gospels, than we have that Julius Caesar died in the Capitol. We have, indeed, far more.”: “Ask anyone who professes to doubt the truth of the Gospel history what reason he has for believing that Caesar died in the Capitol, or that the Emperor Charlemagne was crowned Emperor of the West by Pope Leo III. in 800? . . . How do you know that such a man as Charles I. [of England] ever lived, and was beheaded, and that Oliver Cromwell became ruler in his stead? . . . Sir Isaac Newton is credited with the discovery of the law of gravitation . . . We believe all the assertions just made respecting these men; and that because we have historical evidence of their truth. . . . If, on the production of such proof as this, any still refuse to believe,
we abandon them as stupidly perverse or hopelessly ignorant.”
“What shall we say, then, of those who, notwithstanding the abundant evidence now produced of the authenticity of the Holy Scriptures, profess themselves unconvinced? . . . Surely we have reason to conclude that it is the heart rather than the head which is at fault;—that they do not wish to believe that which humbles their pride, and will force them to lead different lives.”

Here's the facts:
It's because the MSM knows the Apocalypse is coming and each one wants to get the scoop when it happens? ;)

Or is it a conspiracy, keep telling the people the sky is falling or cry wolf, wolf. Eventually the people will mock the warning or maybe start to attack the messengers.

How many times have the citizens along the East coast, been warned to evacuate, only to see the storm wasn’t as bad as projected? So maybe more and more will not heed the warnings and get out the next time?

Come to Mexico the flu wasn’t as bad as they said. Bring money of course.

Or remember the scene from Jaws, the mayor tells the sheriff the bad reports are hurting the beachfront, tourist industry. The people will go somewhere else if they hear bad reports. Maybe they won’t fly here.
Don’t tell how many close encounters planes have with birds. The people won’t fly.

Or shut up about the flu. ‘People it’s okay come back everything is just fine”.

Until the shark or more die from the flu. Unless we can find the victims and keep it quiet blame it on other causes.
Eventually people will be afraid to talk about it, for fear of being labeled. Troublemakers.
Doomsayers.

We don't want to hear bad news; we want to hear only good news. Everything in Iraq is going good; the war in Afghanistan is going as Planned. No one would dare present a less than rosy scenario. Troublemakers and there bad reports.

Quit warning everyone about the Apocalypse, it’s costing us.
No such thing as global warming, it’s only hype? Give us good news.
Polar bears are dying, shut up give us good news.

Get it! WE don’t want to hear reports true or not. Only news that won’t cost us, and we won’t get worked over by the special interest. Whose interest is in suppression of detrimental news?

Is it all right for the landlord, to evict? If someone was destroying your house and you had invited guests, but some of the guests who felt, they had the freewill to do whatever their conscience allowed.

Would the landlord have to submit to the will of the freewillers, destructive behavior?

Sure you had freewill, You're invited to my house on one condition, if you can't agree to my terms, don't come or I'll ask you to leave. Find somplace else to party.

Some thinking the landlord a wimp, and wouldn't even think about evicting anyone especially if we threaten his other guests.

Maybe some of the guests are in the kitchen making some toxic mixture on the stove, which would injure others. When confronted by the landlord, they yell at the landlord, “Hey jerk, you invited us and then you expect us to behave.”

The landlord then tells the guests "did you not read the notice, unlawful conduct would not be allowed."

Some jerk in the crowd yells back "who do you think you are making the rules. Go usptairs and leave us alone we'll make our own rules"

Hopefully the rowdy guests would just leave quietly. Disappear and cause no more damage. Since they have freewill, maybe they could make themselves a new place to party? Having so much freewill it goes to their heads about how powerful they are. We don't need anybody. WE HAVE FREEWILL.

But I suppose the landlord will probably have to forcefully eject them, so his other guests can enjoy each others company, mindful of the owner’s rights.

Who is the Landlord of the Planet?

Gregor you raised some issues earlier as did others
I understood from some of the posters in the past was that we as a Nation didn’t need the counsel from the scriptures. That I should quit referencing quotes from the writers such as Matthew, John or Paul, would it be acceptable to you, the self-appointed censor committee, of TPM , if I said Paul (Wellstone) or Matthew (Yglesias) , just not those Pauls or Matthews

The ridiculers have suggested this Nation would do just fine without the Bible, this and other Nations could find their own values.

You though questioned or attacked my rhetorical question about what class they learned any values at all, as evident in the coarsening of our Society . Evidently it is not as well taught, as you might believe. What secular schools teach those values I listed?

Some believe our Nation can set it’s own values, absent the Guidebook the Bible? Yeah right! Where have they been? How many more years and tears must mankind suffer under the illusion that mankind can do just fine without God. What form of Man governance, have we not tried?

Then you start your misinformation campaign about thumping one another “my BIBs better than yours, my quotes are better.

You know what? Yes my quotes are more superior, I’ll not shy away from defending the Sacred Holy Scriptures of the Bible, and especially knowing from what source the ridicule comes from. Usually it starts by attacking me personally, and then taking scriptures out of context. Then if I respond; they attack me for using verses, which support the viewpoint I am offering.

Cry and lament all they want, the TRUTH DOES SET US FREE, It sets us free from the failed ideologies of rebellion against the Sacred teachings.

As to the predecessor issue you raised, or thought you could lay a snare? Just because my predecessors whipped slaves doesn’t mean I believe in whipping slaves. But I suppose now you’ll find another excuse to come at me with ideas of Slaves? Did I leave another opportunity for another pass for the ridiculers? Trying to validate or justify their errors.

It is obvious you’ve found your soapbox, “Can’t we all just get along”

I say NO we are not going to get along. Either; you’re to blind to the reality; that the ungodly are not interested in getting along or you and your fellow ridiculers objective is the SUPPRESSION OF CHRISTIANITY.

When confronted by an adversary called Satan. Jesus responded to direct confrontation, when asked to compromise his faith. Jesus always replied, “Go away, Satan! For it is written.

Did you catch my earlier point about lack of knowledge? To put it another way; our Nation couldn’t say “FOR IT IS WRITTEN “ because our Nations majority of citizens DON’T KNOW WHAT’S WRITTEN?

How then do you confront a group of SO CALLED CHRISTIANS, twisting the scriptures, outright falsehoods, and apathetic people who don’t question the Christian Right and its claims of Righteousness?

As I wrote earlier the people have become unfamiliar with the writings, it is No longer a pillar of support to help the people fight off those intent in corrupting family values, or to keep in check those who misrepresent themselves as Christians.

SUPPRESSION A TOOL OF THE WICKED

When Nero was blamed for the fire that ravaged Rome, Nero scapegoated the already maligned Christians, precipitating a wave of violent persecution, trying to exterminate the Christians.

Faithful Christians were “objects of hatred” by the Romans for two basic reasons: (1) their Bible-based beliefs and practices, and (2) the false accusations against them.

The opposers had but one objective—the suppression of Christianity.

I am of the opinion most of our citizens are apathetic, instead of standing up to resist the ungodly, they make room for them, only to be corrupted by their influences and hatred. Instead the ridiculers as did Nero, looking for a scapegoat for all the ills of society, and in one sweeping move, go after the faithful along with the Imposter Christian Right.

So if you don’t mind, I've witnessed how slick and sly those seeking a softening of the message, because it is offensive to the wicked. They don’t like getting thumped by the words of truth.

This Scripture reminds me of all the ridiculers of Godly faith. Your predecessors mocked Noah too. Of course you'll even deny there was ever a Great Flood. Those people mocked and ridiculed Noah, and all the prophets, in the end the ridiculers perished.

(2 Peter 3:3-6) 3 For YOU know this first, that in the last days there will come ridiculers with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep [in death], all things are continuing exactly as from creation’s beginning.”

5 For, according to THEIR WISH,
this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water.

Go ahead Cville go ahead all you ridiculers. Here today gone tomorrow.
The best you'll ever receive, in length of days of your lives is 70 to 80 years.

(Psalm 90:5-6) . . .You have swept them away; they become a mere sleep; In the morning [they are] just like green grass that changes. 6 In the morning it puts forth blossoms and must change; At evening it withers and certainly dries up.

(Psalm 90:10) . . .In themselves the days of our years are seventy years; And if because of special mightiness they are eighty years, Yet their insistence is on trouble and hurtful things; For it must quickly pass by, and away we fly.

Insistence is on trouble, hurtful attacks, and name-calling. It is not I that will have to answer for the harm you cause. Or the part you play in promoting a society that mocks sacred things or mock PRINCIPLES THAT PROMOTE PEACE, among the people.

I realize you could care less; callousness and disrespect are another attribute of ridiculers.
It makes for a lousy society. Whenever anyone belittles another.

(Psalm 37:10-12) . . .And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked one is plotting against the righteous one, And at him he is grinding his teeth.

The MEEK will inherit the Earth, not the haughty or the troublemakers. Not those predisposed to acts of unkindness.
Thank God for that, I really want to live in a place free from ridiculers and those who mock others. Do you think they deserve to be there?
Do they really benefit the Planet or Society?

If everyone followed your example and ridiculed others or belittled someone else, I don't think it would be long before violence erupted. From that perspective I see no reason to put a whole lot of credence in what you believe. To follow you ridiculers is ruinous and leads to the destruction of civility.

Just because some one uses the term Cville doesn’t make them civil.
Just as someone who claims to be Christian, is a Christian

Some new foreign words for you ridiculers. Love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, FAITH, Humility, Humble, maybe your self governance that you all keep promoting in place of Christian teachings will teach you these things before the violence erupts.

Do you understand the concept, or did you miss that class?

They are able to come to power, because the majority of our citizens don't know how to combat them.
Screaming hate at them, only encourages them" Happy are those persecuted for my name?"
Instead we have an electorate so caught up in the mundane things of life, parked in front of the TV.

(2 Timothy 3:1-7) 3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

Our civilization is marked by greed and selfish motivation, “having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power” As represented by the Christian right; and the rest of the Nation too apathetic to offer any resistance. Caught up doing their own thing to recognize the harm caused by lack of moral values.

If only the people had the knowledge contained in the scriptures, we wouldn't need to cede the battlefield.

(Ephesians 6:11-20) 11 Put on the complete suit of armor from God that YOU may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil; 12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. 13 On this account take up the complete suit of armor from God, that YOU may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after YOU have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm.

14 Stand firm, therefore, with YOUR loins girded about with truth,

and having on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and with YOUR feet shod with the equipment of the good news of peace. 16 Above all things, take up the large shield of faith, with which YOU will be able to quench all the wicked one’s burning missiles. 17 Also, accept the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, that is, God’s word, 18 while with every form of prayer and supplication YOU carry on prayer on every occasion in spirit. And to that end keep awake with all constancy and with supplication in behalf of all the holy ones, 19 also for me, that ability to speak may be given me with the opening of my mouth, with freeness of speech to make known the sacred secret of the good news, 20 for which I am acting as an ambassador in chains; that I may speak in connection with it with boldness as I ought to speak.

How can a Nation of the uninformed, stand against an enemy with a common goal. Not that the common goal is correct, but it is a unifying factor in their hands.
Prove them false, then you'll DE moralize them.

Our Nations ignorance on scriptural matters makes us easy prey, to false Shepard’s or false leaders.

After reviewing your question I would add.

Just because some murderer or wicked person invokes some scriptural reason for their wicked deeds, is not justification, the Most High never authorized the act.

Some never give him credit for much, but the moment they can discredit him or find fault, they assume that all who claim to be Christians are an example of Christianity.

If those who at the Inquisition said they were Christians, somehow that makes them so because they said so?

What standard would you apply?

(Matthew 7:15-21) 15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men]. 21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.

First) I know many devout Mormons and they reach for a high moral standard, so as a people not all are like Bybee. Having said that

Isn’t it amazing, if what you say is true? Find a Mormon, seeing as how they have some sense of the Holy writings, but not content with the original version, they have their own set of values, then claim it is Superior to the original.

If questions are raised about their Book when compared to the original, then repeat the mantra, the original is full of errors or can be improved or clarified.

(If anyone had the authority to correct the writings of the original it would have been Jesus; Except Jesus quoted extensively from it.)

If you think the Constitution is outdated, then find someone willing to argue that it is, then replace it with your own set of values. Call it the Mormonized version.

Our Constitution is only a few hundred years old, and it has been tested in the courts. To assume that the American people would give so much power to one individual President is in stark contrast to the will of the people and their Representative form of Governance.

Thanks for the link TheraP, How Bybee made it legal.

Anyone know how Alberto and Harriet played there parts in this mess?

(Matthew 10:22-28) . 28 And do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be in fear of him that can destroy both soul and body in Ge·hen′na.

(Romans 12:17-19) 17 Return evil for evil to no one. Provide fine things in the sight of all men. 18 If possible, as far as it depends upon YOU, be peaceable with all men. 19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay,

(Romans 13:1-4) 13 Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. 2 Therefore he who opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken a stand against it will receive judgment to themselves. 3 For those ruling are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. Do you, then, want to have no fear of the authority? Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it; 4 for it is God’s minister to you for your good. But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear: for it is not without purpose that it bears the sword; for it is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath upon the one practicing what is bad.

Christians know what can happen. But we are not cowards. Death has been conquered. True Christians believe in the Resurrection. So if wicked men and imposter Christians promote murder and torture. You already know, they may kill the body, but you’ll get a new one if you remain faithful.
The Great Judge will make the wicked answerable to him. You’ll have your day in court. As will all our brothers who were persecuted for Righteousness sake

(Mark 13:13)
13 and YOU will be objects of hatred by all people on account of my name. But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved.

to mageduley: A very good illustration, but I am afraid you have misunderstood the significance of those verses, Verse 11 told why the illustration. The disciples, were imagining that the kingdom of God was going to display itself instantly. The man would not return for awhile, but while he was away….

11 While they were listening to these things he spoke in addition an illustration, because he was near Jerusalem and they were imagining that the kingdom of God was going to display itself instantly. 12 Therefore he said: “A certain man of noble birth traveled to a distant land to secure kingly power for himself and to return. 13 Calling ten slaves of his he gave them ten mi′nas and told them, ‘Do business till I come.’ 14 But his citizens hated him and sent out a body of ambassadors after him, to say, ‘We do not want this [man] to become king over us.’ 15 “Eventually when he got back after having secured the kingly power, he commanded to be called to him these slaves to whom he had given the silver money, in order to ascertain what they had gained by business activity. 16 Then the first one presented himself, saying, ‘Lord, your mi′na gained ten mi′nas.’ 17 So he said to him, ‘Well done, good slave! Because in a very small matter you have proved yourself faithful, hold authority over ten cities.’ 18 Now the second came, saying, ‘Your mi′na, Lord, made five mi′nas.’ 19 He said to this one also, ‘You, too, be in charge of five cities.’ 20 But a different one came, saying, ‘Lord, here is your mi′na, that I kept laid away in a cloth. 21 You see, I was in fear of you, because you are a harsh man; you take up what you did not deposit and you reap what you did not sow.’ 22 He said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I judge you, wicked slave. You knew, did you, that I am a harsh man, taking up what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Hence why is it you did not put my silver money in a bank? Then on my arrival I would have collected it with interest.’ 24 “With that he said to those standing by, ‘Take the mi′na from him and give it to him that has the ten mi′nas.’ 25 But they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten mi′nas!’— 26 ‘I say to YOU, To everyone that has, more will be given; but from the one that does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 27 Moreover, these enemies of mine that did not want me to become king over them BRING here and slaughter them before me.’”

The Master, Jesus Christ, the one who would return with kingly power had given these “slaves” something of value. What? What belongings of great value did Jesus Christ entrust to his servants?

It was a set of values. Find new disciples

Jesus’ words, after his resurrection: “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe ALL THE THINGS I HAVE COMMANDED YOU.”—Matt. 28:16, 19, 20.

Upon returning, this man, called before him “these slaves to whom he had given the silver money, in order to ascertain what they had gained by business activity.” (Luke 19:15)

This parable shows clearly and forcefully their obligation to increase TRUE CHRISTIANITY to the greatest possible extent

Would he find the slaves had done as directed, was there harmony with what he taught or did the slaves misuse the mans belongings for their own personal gain, did they do ALL things as commanded.

After the inspection was completed he would oust his enemies from the earth, as shown at Luke 19:15-27.—Ps. 110:1-3..—Matt. 24:3; Luke 19:11-27.

All the “slaves,” like the ones in the parable of the minas, were ‘to do business until he came.’ (Luke 19:11-13) It would be Jesus’ business, the King’s business.

Instead we find to many of the so called Christian Churches are not what the king expected, and in fact have worked against the Kings interest, saying ’WE don’t want you as king”
He in turn states Moreover, these enemies of mine that did not want me to become king over them bring here and slaughter them before me.”

Slaughter the liars, those who defamed me, those who murdered and tortured in my name.
