Is Rob Miller any better?
With all the hoopla surrounding today's rethuglican boor de jour, Rep. Joe Wilson, and fundraising for his opponent Rob Miller what do we know about Mr. miller.
As we have discovered in the past when the grass roots were ginned up to support candidates such as Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.) and Rep. Heath Shuler (NC-11), just to name few examples, only to be punked by their active sabotage of the Democratic Party Agenda.
Is this the case for Mr. Miller. Is he like other Blue Dogs, just inherently to dishonest to declare their true colors and run as the R's they are, or is he deserving of our support?
Lets hear a few of his positions before we pour our money into his campaign.
Does He support a true Public Option? Or like Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin (D-S.D.) will he brag about how he helped stop a key part of the Democratic agenda.
Does he support criminal investigations and prosecutions for war criminals in the past administration? Or will he be an apologist for torture.
Does he support Card Check? Or does he believe corporate welfare is more important.
Will he support Barney Franks "Cramdown" on home loans? Or will he decide that Wall street is more important then Main street.
Will he be just another Blue Dog following an agenda of seeking to obstruct, delay and prevent progress in the country to reward his narrow provincial and retrogressive failed ideology?
If he is just another Blue Dog I would rather that the R's keep their fool rather then adding a new one to the D's side of the aisle.

What point am I missing?
That Joe Wilson is a fool?
The question is are we running the risk of replacing a R fool witha D fool?
We obviously did this with Shuler and so many of Rahm's good Blue dog friends where we financed their campaigns so they can be as obstructive as possible.
I did try to check couldn't find anything on the net with a Google search.

I thought your post really excellent. I am so tired of these knee-jerk reactions to such non-issues. The idiocy of supporting Mr. Miller, to punish Wilson, when we know NOTHING about Miller is stupidity compounded. There seems to be a lot of that going around. Perhaps instead of rushing to support yet another do-nothing, stand-for-nothing Democrat (if that description is apt...I do not know), money might be more wisely given to progressive movements committed to issues and change and not just replacing one useless R with a useless D. Unfortunately, Economides (above) does not even fathom that it is those contributing to Mr. Miller who should be doing research before giving away precious resources...that is, if they cared about change.
